What's an Outlaw now?
Jamey because he was in the Music Row lineup then told them to **** off? Yeah, absolutely.
But "Outlaw Country" isnt nearly what I grew up on. TBH there's a lot of abject **** produced in the name of being an "Outlaw". I consider myself an "Outlaw", I live my life, graduated HS and went to War like dad and his dad and his dad, became a ****ed up mess and looped back to being a functional question asking human being.
I'm about as outlaw as they come.
Thats the thing. "Outlaw" in modern country music is buying beard products online and wearing semi Witty Grunt Style shirts, while having a back the blue sticker.None of my business to ask. The law is none of my concern.

I'm none of the above, have played Army in real life, and so have a WWPD (What Would Patton Fo) shirt.
And for better or worse have been involved in things that most of my friends would consider criminal. Call me what you will
Evan Duane Felker strums his 6 String Martin and says "But your daddy's gone to Kingston, betting on a rooster fight"
If you get off the airwave radio and poke around you'll find a lot of good music. I was lucky enough to have your tax dollars send me to the west when my generation of guys were starting to really peak, was a casual country listener until I heard Pat and Boland etc and was just awestruck.Honestly the bro country trend drove me so far away from country music over the past decade that I'm not aware of some of the more traditional artists that have appeared. I know Chris Stapleton has put out some good stuff.
