Country music thread

@NochNoch I love Tyler Childers. In fact, I am the "Michelle" from that wedding bash! I asked him to play that song, "Feathered Indians," so it could be filmed by Shaker Steps Productions (the company that posted it on YouTube). It's not been released on an album yet, but it will be on the new one he is currently working on.

Here it is again:

I love Isbell, too. I loved Southeastern and can't wait for the new one. And I am a HUGE Matt Woods fan:

That's awesome, I saw there was a show recently that Tyler and Matt played together and it sounded like the best damn show ever.

I'm really looking forward to Tyler's next album though, I was so mad when I first heard Feathered Indians but then found out you couldn't buy it anywhere.

Edit: I didn't really look at your name at first when I responded but I just now put two and two together and realized that you're Michelle from Ninebullets and your post just the other day with the Feathered Indians video there is the only reason I know about Tyler so I owe you a very big thank you.

Edit #2: Deadman's Blues is one of the greatest songs to come along in the last few years.

anyone listen to Chris Stapleton? It's good stuff.

Love it. Love it. Love it. Got to see him play acoustic a couple of weeks ago at an album release. Was gonna stay and meet him but something came up and we couldn't do it had to leave early.

Found myself consuming large doses of Jamey Johnson during my driving over the long weekend

Jealous. Look forward to hearing your review

As good as I expected. He's a singer/singwriter, not a performer. No time wasted fellating the audience, jumped into Jones/Haggard/Cash/Conway/Hank for 20 minutes in the middle.

Was surprised to see him up here, good crowd, hopefully again soon

Awesome. If he every comes near me, I'll be there even if I can't find anyone willing to accompany me.

So I used to have a habit of a running, constant dialogue on facebook during the country music award shows. A little over a year ago I was so fed up with the garbage on them that I quit watching. Tonight, I regret that decision. Real country music rose again. Chris Stapleton is your new CMA Male Vocalist of the year, Album of the Year recipient and New Artist. Holy crap balls. Welcome back country music.

Just watched it an hour ago for the first time...bought Stapleton's album immediately after. Damn. Good.

I've been a huge Chris Stapleton fan for years. I'm a big bluegrass fan and loved his old band "The Steeldrivers". They're still around and making good music, but nothing like what they put out when Stapleton was their front man.

I'm really happy to see him making it big. He's a really talented singer/songwriter.
