Country music thread

I like the idea, the video is cool.

I agree with liking the idea. When I first saw it, I thought it was going to be a lot more of the traditional country stars. Seeing Bryan, Shelton, Lady A, Little Big Town was rough, but then putting up with Jason Aldean getting so much play singing Willie was disgraceful to me. Then when they started having two songs going on at the exact same time, it was just too weird. Felt kinda forced imo.

One thing from that video, Randy Travis looks a lot like Porter Wagoner as he ages.

And Aldean and Rascall Flatts leading off On The Road Again is sad.

Alan Jackson is an impressive guy, and I also wonder how many people watching have any idea who Ronnie Milsap is?

Alan Jackson is, was and always will be my favorite. I wondered the same about Ronnie Milsap, but even more so about Charlie Pride.

I was really afraid they were leaving Dolly out, having her finish it was pretty good. Also, Kacey Musgraves' voice still stops me in my tracks.

Finally getting to see William Michael Morgan in January. Excited for him, and the headliners. Should be a kick ass show.

That's some deep stuff right there.

It's not bad, the sound is good, but he sounds like such a pansy in the "I Met A Girl" song that I don't want to hear his voice. Every single slow country song on radio is about a guy willing to drop everything and be a slave to a girl because he's so "in love." Turned us into wussed up puppy dogs. I literally can't stand it.

I really like that song, I relate. I know who he is, is a great song, too.

These are pretty cool, there's an Aaron Watson and Randy Rogers one also, hopefully more are forthcoming.
