*Crosses Fingers* Here's The NEW BCS Poll

Michigan had it a 35-31 late.

Who cares if OSU was up 14 in the first half.

Hmmm. We obviously watched 2 different games. Ohio State that lead Michigan 35-31 late in the game, and that was after Michigan scored a touchdown to cut into Ohio State's 11 point lead. That was right before Ohio State scored again to make it 42-31.

As I said, the game was never really in danger.

The people who are trying to state that the Tosu-Michigan game was not close are morons.

they were pretty threatened until the persoanal foul call on third down... what game did ya'll watch? smith had a terrible third quarter and almost blew it, but came back w/ a strong fourth and put it away. this game was every thing that it was supposed to be.

oh yeah.. i forgot.. it wasn't an SEC game, no way can it be considered great. sheesh

Where did someone say that?

Nowhere. I have lived in SEC country, ACC country, PAC-10 country (where I currently reside), and Big 12 country. I'm not one of these guys that thinks that football is only played in the SEC conference.

As I said before, the Ohio State/Michigan game was a good game but nothing more.

It was a good game but I really do feel sorry for the Razorbacks. They will have to play OSU if they can get that far past LSU and the gators.

Arkansas will have to have some other things (other than beating LSU and Florida) break their way if they're going to play Ohio State.

Yeah, but they can do that. McFadden looks awesome every time he runs and they deserve after having an undefeated SEC season to be in the big one. It is time the SEC starts getting its kudos propertly.

The only way Arkansas gets into the National Title game is if USC loses and in 20 years there are movies titled We are Michigan and We are Notre Dame.

i'm sorry, but if Ohio St. really is the best team in the country, then Michigan should be number 2, and I don't know that anyone else is even close.

I thought OSU controlled that game and two unforced turnovers allowed a weaker Michigan team to get back in it. The score was closer than what it should have been IMO.

So, the unforced turnovers by Tosu count in your book, however, the unforced error in the form of the hit on Troy Smith means nothing to you...

I really love how people like to pick and choose what they want out of these games.

That game was easily one of the best games of the season, and both teams were very evenly matched. Heck, if the ground doesn't give way on Steve Breaston on 4th down, Michigan gets points out of that drive.

Michigan also handed Wisconson (11-1) and Notre Dame (10-1) their only two losses and dang near gave Ohio State their only loss.

Since you are picking and choosing, they also "dang near" lost to Ball State.

I prefer to see the next contender take their shot. Michigan got their chance and failed.

Michigan probably deserves it, but I don't think OSU deserves to be forced to beat them again.

but do they deserve to have to beat another 1 loss team? perhaps one that lost to michigan. As far as I'm concerned, if this game had been on a neutral field, Michigan wins.

Very observant of you. I already knew that.

I was pointing it out for the other fellow, since he was using, UM dang near beat OSU.
No. Tosu does not have to make a case to make the National Title game.

When you compare Michigans resume to the other 1 loss teams, the only resume that even comes close is USC's. The tie breaker on that, is that USC lost to an unranked team, Michigan lost to the #1 team in the country.

Considering it was Tosu that actually committed mistakes usually attributed to the visiting school in a hostile environment, I doubt that Michigan would beat Tosu on a neutral field. However, I also doubt that any other team would come within 3 of Tosu on any field.

The only 1 loss team, IMO, that has a legit argument to be ahead of Michigan is USC. Not Florida, not Arkansas, not Notre Dame. Michigan would beat Florida by .... 10+. Michigan and Arkansas would be worse, possibly. Michigan is as good as Ohio State on a neutral field.
