They are better, no doubt. That was a gutty performance yesterday. Should help them believe in themselves as a team.

Sims and Weaver to Louisville for rehab assignments. Will not be long and they will be brought back up. Hope they can help.

With how young we are and having a crappy bullpen I just want to see the guys compete and try to hover around .500 if we do that for the season I'll consider it a success.

Seeing where Senzel is hitting the ball hard for Louisville. If the dude could ever stay healthy and play a full season man. Not to mention we screwed up his development but forcing him into CF.

I also hope we ditch the 3 catcher rotation. Stephenson has started 5 games at C and Casali/Maile have a combined 11 ABs. I'd rather use that bench spot on a player who may actually play more.

Born on This Date - Josh Hancock - April 11, 1978

Josh was killed in a car crash during the 2007 season at the age of 29. He was playing for the St. Louis Cardinals at that time.
He played in Cincinnati in 2004 & 2005, pitching in 23 games. With a remarkable record as a Red. His record was 6 - 1, with a 3.93 ERA.
On the first day of Spring training 2006 Hancock was released by the Reds for being 17 pounds overweight, violating a clause in his contract. He promptly signed with the St. Louis Cardinals and had his best season.

Nice cheap save for Diaz. Whatever. Pad his stats. Bell has nothing beyond Diaz in the 'pen right now

I'm mote pissed at Bell for stuff like pulling his best hitters like Friedel and Fraley for PHs like he did a couple of games ago

Wish they could spread their scoring out a bit better using it up all in one game. Good to see Myers break out.
