Oh hell thats easy...Give me the complete win total of the teams strong has beaten this season....Strong is without doubt the most overrated coach out there...Absolutely NO DOUBT ABOUT IT...Now you prove me wrong...Who has he beaten?...Mullen is twice the coach Strong is.

Here's something people forget on Strong: He will have a whole lot better offensive staff in place at UT than he ever thought of at Louisville. His defenses were off the charts with their speed, technique, discipline, and scheme. If he comes here, look for guys like Ramsey, Bell, Lawson, Hatcher, Levenberry, etc... to be here on NSD.

I am going to lift this directly from something I read elsewhere, because it is THE argument for Strong. (Well, the actual argument for Strong is that you called him overrated, which should immediately signal to everyone that he is, in fact, a very good coach).

The guy took a 1-6 football team, tied for the conference championship in his second year and was a 4 OT loss from the Orange Bowl in his third.

And to answer the question as to who has he beat at Louisville? The answer is, teams that were better than his, and multiple ones at that. Mullen has never beaten anyone he shouldn't have.

Typical cop out...Strong has never beaten anyone of quality and he got blown out by a bad Syracuse team this season and lost to UConn at home today...Oh yeah lets hire this guy at UT :eek:lol: Seeing your support of him shows me you have no clue...Thanks for pointing that out :thumbsup:

Strong beating West Virginia his 2nd year was a better win than anything Mullen has ever sniffed.

Also, I fail to see how in the hell that answer was a cop out. If you want to be a good football coach, you better win some games you shouldn't. Strong has done that, Mullen hasn't. It's simple.

Thanks, but I'm fairly certain I didn't "say anything else". What I did say, is it would be foolish for UT, who is on probation, to hire a coach whose school has recently been investigated by the NCAA when we are willing to spend as much money as some would have us believe.

For the sake of this argument, yes, I am. Croom won more games that he wasn't expected to win in his **** tenure than Mullen has done so far in his tenure. Everyone creams all over Mullen and he is a overrated piece of garbage.

At what point did I defend him? I said he had more quality wins than Mullen, which he did. He just lost a bunch of ****ing games in the process.

No, for the simple fact Mullen couldn't recruit well enough to win here. Strong has a much better name in the South, and kids would love to play on his defense in the SEC. I think Strong leaves the Big East, because of their conference attrition, and I think he lands at either UT or Auburn.
