Dooley was in the WAC. Your point? Strong won 2 championships as a result of his defense. And in case you didn't know this, Strong is playing with Big East-level players and inherited a crap of a program.

His only win vs. an SEC west opponent outside of Ole Miss came against Auburn and Arkansas this year. That should put that to rest.

If you don't go undefeated every year in the Big East, you can't possibly win in the SEC. By his logic, Urban Meyer should have never left Bowling Green because he lost to Western Michigan and Northern Illinois.

lol I remember last week when I got trashed for speaking truth in the Gruden thread for telling people they are blind if they think we will hire someone good. It will be Mullen, Smart, or Fedora. Not discounting someone with a losing record we don't know about yet a new Dooley basically. This place is a mess and no one is going to want the job.

Both Strong and Mullen would be better coaches with more resources. I like Strong better than Mullen for different reasons. And I'm not a d*ck about it. To act like Strong is head and shoulders above Mullen based off of his current record is only a modest argument. Putting Mullen in the same sentence with Croom is laughable.

Bear Bryant's rotting corpse would be a better coach than Dooley. Again, you aren't setting the bar very high there. Strong would be absolutely fine here, Mullen would be 4 years of turd polish.

Who had Meyer had the opportunity to beat? Mullen has had his shots and beat a bunch of teams that were down.

Well you said who did Meyer have a chance to beat (prior to UF). So, if Mullen were tearing it up in the WAC or whatever conference Utah was in, you would have more respect for him?

For what it's worth, I heard a fellow say on the bus to the game today that he had a friend or relative, who works in the office or has something to do with the Webb School(private school in Knoxville). He said that he was told that Gruden's kid or kids have recently registered at the Webb School. Sounds too good to be true. But, there you have it! We'll have to wait and see what happens.
