Dan Mullen

He's beaten UF, UGA and Michigan

What was the record of UGA and Michigan the year he beat them? And Florida was unranked the year he beat them. Just for argument sake I will give you the win over 8-5 Florida. So in 4 years, his best win was over an 8-5 unranked Florida team.

Wait, let me answer my own question there. Florida was 8-5 and couldn't find an offense, Michigan finished that year 7-6 and UGA finished the year 6-7.

****ing quality.

Because he is incapable of crafting an intelligent argument. I have been down this road with him before.

I was thinking about this the other night. I sure wish you had been right about hiring Sumlin last year. I will admit my idiocy.

And again, how good were any of those teams when he beat them?

Well it goes both ways, Tell me what quality teams Strong has beaten?...Let me help you..NONE...Zero...Zip...Ziltch...Strong couldn't beat those teams...You just can't handle the fact he isn't that good....And every decent team he plays he gets spanked by

You just described Dan Mullen.

In fact, Mike Hamilton's failure to hire him when we hired Dooley is quite possibly the worst non-violation **** up by an AD that I can remember.

Mullen gets gatorade baths when he barely beats Troy. He probably would've had sex with his wife on the 50 yd line if he had beaten West Virginia last year.

For the sake of this argument, yes, I am. Croom won more games that he wasn't expected to win in his **** tenure than Mullen has done so far in his tenure. Everyone creams all over Mullen and he is a overrated piece of garbage.

Let me ask you this: would you rather go 4-8 next year and beat Bama or would you rather win 8-9 games and lose to Florida, Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina?

The quality wins will come. We're barely even beating the teams we're supposed to these days

Agreed. Just think of both of Hamilton's hirings.

Kiffin over:

1. Patterson
2. Muschamp
3. Kelly

Dooley over Sumlin.

'07...not '97, Typo. Sorry.

Gotcha. Still, Mullen isn't going to be the guy that gets us there. He is merely an average coach that gets by because his schedule has been weak for his entire tenure and he caught a few name programs on off years.

You really are pitiful :eek:lol: Ok i'm out, Proving you wrong over and over gets tiring....Strong is Dooley 2.0

So Dooley had a winning record, a win over a ranked BCS bowl winner, and was a championship coordinator? Good call.

What evidence do you have that Mullen can beat quality opponents? He has yet to beat anyone that he was not supposed to beat.

His schedule hasn't been weak. Let's see, the NC has come from the SEC West the last 3 years with LSU and Ark being pretty f&cking good as well.

I'm not saying Mullen is the "end all, be all" but come on. He's done more at Miss St in 4 years than UT has done in that time.

What would UT's record be in 2012 if he were coaching UT following the 2011 season?

Has he beat any of the good teams on his schedule?
