what is it psychologically that people can not admit talent is a problem?

no one has any difficulty pointing out florida has talent issues on the offensive side of the ball. this player isn't very good. that player isn't very good. etc, etc, etc. people can see that, identify it and call it for what it is.

but, someone dares mention that talent is an issue on a team that has struggled for a few years in game after game and it's go time.

it's not talent. it's youth. it's coaching. it's development. etc, etc, etc.

what makes it so difficult to accept that the level of talent is a problem?

I do not know my gator friend, and its not a problem that rose up yesterday.

These coaches are not stupid. Worley is the best of the bunch and 4 wins looks like may become reality. I still want CBJ at the helm for 5 years to give stability for the players. I dont care what his record is.

We're not going to lose 8 games. I know our talent is low, but its not happening. This is a 5 win team which Butch will turn into 7.

Because usually talent wins out. If some of our fans can cling to the notion that we are still up to snuff regarding talent, then they will convince themselves we can win even in the face of ample evidence that it's a long shot at best.

He is right. But start winning and we won't hear it anymore. You gain respect by changing the scoreboard.

One would hope it to be a talent problem. You can change that. If its a coaching/development problem its much more of a worry.

Fact is, UT has subpar talent and has had subpar coaching for a while. Hopeful the later is changing and the first will get consistently better.

We have talent just no depth. And a lot of our guys didn't really pan out. I mean...both Neil and Lane were highly regarded 4*'s. Somehow other team's players pan out more often than ours. I guess that would indicate partially bad luck, partially bad coaching.

Bad coaching evaluations. Fools sucked.

How come Floridas offense is horrid with so many highly regarded players?

Not saying I don't agree with what you said.

Legit question, baffles me a bit.

N what's worse is that vol fans accept we r going to lose on sat n then to GA n then next n next...wtf is that u support an admin that has let us get to this level n thinks its OK.. no wonder Obama got elected sheep nothing but sheep..

If we get to SC without an sec win what is that??? think about it.. that will be unreal...we have to win 1 sec game before SC.. I don't care if u run a reverse or a bomb on every play..lol

Expect more out of the leaders of the.football team n university.. we win 7 games this year!!!!! Min!!!

People who defend our talent levels concentrate too much on star rankings.

Yes, we have a roster with a lot of 4 star players. But many, many of those 4* guys had offers from only mid tier SEC teams... If any at all.

CBJ is changing that. And honestly, we won't be truly competitive until our roster is loaded with the same caliber players that UGA, UF, Bama, and LSU are recruiting.

Because admitting that the other guys are just better requires getting over your own ego.
