DC Black Hawk vs Plane crash, Philly Crash. Malicious, or incompotence?

That's what I thought lol, no answer whatsoever because ATC didn't do anything wrong and "staffing" wouldn't have changed anything, "based on what we know at this time"
Correct based on what we know. Anyone in leadership suggesting anything at this time is just political posturing.

It was only a matter of time.

No doubt the system is strained. That's been a topic going back many years, as I recall. More than a decade.

From what I read, the helicopter was on an incorrect path. There were communications with both, but I suppose we'd all like to know whether a larger ATC staff could have prevented it by warning them, or was the incorrect path the issue and could it have been caught and changed.

"Not my best" but you have no response other than "these two things are both true so one caused the other," which most people learn is BS by about 4th grade
As I’ve said many times. If you don’t like the answer, ask better questions. I do appreciate you defending Pete’s incompetence on flyers safety.

Good to see you resorting to insults. Typically means you’re beaten down and can’t get up.

Majors may be on to something Nash. Have you ever complained about a dept or company having too many employees? The only two that come to mind are the IRS and Chick-fil-a.

No doubt. Two aircraft traveling at a decent speed with multiple aircraft in the area, isn’t ideal for one person to communicate between military frequency and airline. In a training exercise why doesn’t the military supply their own?

Truly stoked that you arrived to provide some reasonable takes.

The amount of conjecture, posturing and partisanship being doled out in this thread is breathtaking. Such a tragic situation, absolutely devastating for these families.

Such a sad indictment on our society that the first thing certain people want to do is score political points.

Unfortunately, this has become the norm after something tragic takes place. Conjecture is common in every single thread.

Never see CFA understaffed

One of the best run businesses I encounter. Efficiency, kindness, and accuracy/quality are always excellent. Despite the hard work required from always being super busy, they are the most desired jobs in retail for teenagers that make up most of the staff. I read an article where the average GPA of CFA employees is around 4.0 weighted. They have so many applicants that they can pick the cream of the crop. They apparently treat their employees quite well also. I have never had a bad experience at CFA, and eat from there often.

CFA and Buccees are about as efficient as it gets.

A Virginia family of four were among the victims of the devastating American Airlines crash on Wednesday night in Washington, DC.

The Livingstons, from Ashburn, were on their way home from Wichita, Kansas, after 11-year-old Alydia and 14-year-old Everly had participated in the 2025 US Figure Skating Championships.

The two sisters died in the horrific crash on Flight 5342 alongside their dad, Peter, and their mom, Donna.
