What's concerning is the amount of people who worked for him during his first term and now have nothing good to say about him and wouldn't give him the time of day. If that repeats, it could mean disastrous consequences.
Same ones like Scaramucci who lasted 10 days and all the rest who have not landed a meaningful position since. Saying bad things on TV to liberal media allows them to pay bills and feel important.


 
Congress. Unions need to lobby congress. People like me (senior management) can't.

I'm a firm believer in more automation. We already have the products in place where if you're flying at altitude you don't even have to talk to ATC anymore. Still need human eyes on things though. ATC doesn't do themselves any favors though. They only work half the shift they are scheduled for (the rest is on break). Find a large ATC facility and sit outside it at 6am and watch all the people come out in their pajamas, holding pillows and sleeping bags....

Automation has been important. Even in the dozen plus years I’ve worked, one controller can do the job it used to take two or three to do, due to some automated features.
 
I fully believe Trump didn’t believe he would win in 2016 and wasn’t prepared so he fell back to the entrenched establishment which was a big mistake for him. That is why we see this transition going much smoother and his appointments being people who are on his team and not fighting against him.

Sure Trump can open his big mouth and make a catastrophic blunder but I doubt it.

You’ll appreciate this I think. I came in for my OT this afternoon and my supe stopped me at the desk “you may have heard about the NOTAMS being out….” Yes I heard already, got the news on volnation this morning lol.

China (Shanghai Control at least) is sending out expected STARS, approaches and rwy via CPDLC. It's pretty awesome especially since they used to not tell you until you were almost at the first fix of the arrival. I would think that in the US the opportunity exists to give all stars (especially "descend via") over CPDLC using RTA's.
