After seeing what Colorado did on NSD, he’s smart not to go there. Prime is only working for next year, his last year with his son. He’s thinking he can build a championship team by the portal only and it’s not gonna workno way he goes to Colorado. He doesn’t seem very interested to talk about them at all when pressed. Showed a ton of love to Boo, and said a big flip Maryland got today got his attention.
Judging by how short and weird he’s being I think he doesn’t sign early.
I think that is a big issue for a lot of these kids. They get people in their ear that they’re supposed to trust but those people are usually looking for the highest bidder and have a hand out.I think people maybe underestimating how much chaos his influencers are causing in his recruitment. I doubt it’s all kid.
My kid would not be doing this crap.
If you do a little research, you'll find that Colorado was recruiting LA gang bangers on those teams. I got so bad that McCartney had to turn to religion after football. I remember their QB standing on the sidelines wearing a full-length fur coat during a game. Think of the Baylor scandal----it was almost that bad.You don't know what you are talking about. From 1988 to 1994, Bill McCartney consistently recruited as well as anyone except for the 3 Florida schools and Notre Dame.
I grew up with a good friend and his dad who both wore sunglasses 24/7 (well I take that back a bit, my buddy would take them off when we had basketball practice or games).I can see how you might compare Prime to Tony, but they feel different too. Tony himself doesn't come across as brash or arrogant or flashy, he just lets the team enjoy themselves while they perform at a high level. The sunglasses at night indoors thing is just trying too hard, but jmo.
It's not all a terrible thing. Both are extremely confident and their teams attach to that swagger and mentality.Do not compare Tony with DS!!!
How dare a coach give a kid with no structure, that turned to gang family life, an opportunity for a better one!If you do a little research, you'll find that Colorado was recruiting LA gang bangers on those teams. And for that, outsiders hate and ridicule them. That was my point. We'd defend Deion as our coach the same way we support the baseball guys and their playful shenanigans and we support TV.
I'm not saying they're completely alike though. Not at all. I'd say Deion is more over the top as an individual. I'd say our team is more over the top as a group. But they've also balled out and earned some of that (though sealing up a title this year sure would shut up a lot of folks ).
But I'm not a big ego person, so I'm not ever going to be a fan of Deion as an outsider. Me, me, me society, as covid exposed our country full of, is corrupting and I can't ride with that (unless it's my coach or team then btfo )
wasnt there a 30 for 30 on Mac? It was real good.If you do a little research, you'll find that Colorado was recruiting LA gang bangers on those teams.
