You clearly failed at civics if you think every federal judge has the authority to just block any executive action they dislike.



So can any federal judge over rule a General's order to their troops? Use common sense. Furthmore even Federal courts have limited Jurisdictions. Otehrwise why even have elected offices if any local fed judge can simply over rule the President? The Executive Branch isn't king The Constitution is King, and when a judge steps out of the bounds of his constitutional authority and constitutional law the executive is free to ignore his ass. A Judge that continues to ignore constitutional law can be removed from the bench. Judges are certainly not Kings.

Not with Tennessee's current tax structure, no, they couldn't, but I'll bite: let's hear your proposed plan for making up a ~$20 billion shortfall in the budget.

Be specific as to what you'd cut, and what new state taxes or tax increases you'd levy.

Eliminating the DOE doesn’t mean the fed will quit sending education dollars back to the states. It means those education dollars won’t be supporting all the expenses of the DOE and won’t have all the crazy requirements tied to the funding that these parents are steaming mad over.

Not only will it not hold up but a higher court can review the judges actions and decide if he is adhering to his constitutional limits. If Trump orders Elon Musk And DOge to check into a part of the executive branch and perform an audit that is in no way outside of his duties as the Executive commander in chief. As for clearance he can declassify at will. It's not an issue. The Judiciary has no authority there unless teh president is going beyond the scope of his duties.

just like the files he kept at Maralago. if he wants to declassify and then give it to people without clearance, he can do that. what he can't do is just give out classified info first, get called on it, and then attempt to declassify in order to justify actions that have already been taken.

he has power, but that power comes with processes that can't be ignored because they are inconvenient to this president.

I understand that, this stuff is not directed at you but as more of a point that DOGE's operations are not new.

My point is that this seems to be a sticking point for people, and it's really not. USDS already has the authority to access those records, and they've been funded by Congress since inception. It's had these clearances and funding for years. And the employees of the agency require clearances. All of this blustering is a moot point. DOGE is not a "new" or extra-governmental agency.

Elon had TOP Secret Clearance before Trump was sworn in, given to him by Biden or Obama. As for tehse specific depts, I am sure DOGE is getting orders from the President. Several statements and articles have stated Trump is directing where he wants DOGE to look and audit, and that he is directing them. In Any case it's clear to me you're really just looking for loopholes......you know damn well from common sense any President should be able to audit the executive branch of govt, and anyone they appoint should be allowed to audit their own depts. To think otherwise is insane.

So then what is the real argument here? Other then stalling so people can try and cover up their crimes?

What other purpose can there be to stop these audits then to cover up malfeasance?

Agree, Yet tin pot jailbird Judges can't seem to read that or understand it, because their friends and donars might go to jail. these judges are over stepping their authority and deserve to be investigated by an inspector general. They might want to bear in mind the power of the president, and the NSA etc. Wonder what comms they had before these rulings. FISA remember? Did any of these judges take money from a foriegn entity like Soros during their campaigns?
