I forget the exact number, but I read some article sensationalizing the Nazis in their ranks, and how the number of Nazis had grown 2x or 3x. article went on length about how dangerous the Nazis were, and they were taking over the party, all that sort of stuff. Turns out total claimed nazi participation was just in the double digits, and all one had to be considered a "nazi" was be anti-semitic (including being against funding the state of Israel), or be anti-immigration.

whatever insanely long word is the German FBI looked into them. and found a "distressing" number of neoNazis in the youth movement of the AfD. you look at the actual numbers and it was some small numbers of youths were caught via wire taps to have said Nazi stuff in online gaming. I got some bad news for them if that is the criteria, probably north of 50% of gaming kids have said some Nazi stuff.

they are "far right" for Europe, and the Germans have a reason to be over sensitive. but I remain skeptical of the charges for now.

I am comfortable saying Musk has a genius to him, but the genius? For the record:

Space X = legit awesome, and he deserves credit for being a driving force
Starlink = legit awesome
Neuralink = seems very promising

Tesla = didn't found it, just bought it, deserves credit for gigafactory concept.

Paypal = his company was meant to be an online banking company, but it merged with Confinity which was already doing email payments and then became the online payments company. He wanted to build everything on Microsoft and wouldn't acquiesce so he was ousted. Everybody else was right, it seems. Paypal took off after they kicked him out.
Hyperloop = he published a white paper on a 100-year-old idea
OpenAI = can't tell he did anything besides funding and then leaving to compete with them.

Twitter = so far it's a lot worse since he bought it.

He's a tech geek with a bunch of money and he's funding and involving himself with interesting projects, but if we're being honest, none of us know how much credit he should get, beyond the funding.
