You have that and then you have cops that are just douche nozzles that don't GAS about the people or the law and feel untouchable because cops protect cops.
Yea you do...... we need to work to fix those situations but no one seems to want to do that.

No Zimmerman walked because of the 'stand your ground' law.

It didn't matter what the charges were, the defense found their path and it would've made him a free man no matter what they charged him with as that law made Zimmerman's actions justified
Zimmerman is a real piece of sh$t but the part that left me shaking my head is how he suddenly became a white guy as well.

I'd say that outcome is very unlikely. The defense is going to argue that Floyd died because of drugs, not because of the defendant's knee on his neck. To render the defendant not guilty of murder you have to believe that defense, which makes it impossible to convict on the lesser charges.

I believe it will be all or nothing. And since everyone believes cops in a courtroom, the defendant will be found not guilty of everything.

Hope I'm wrong

You think that knee on his neck caused this death and not the heart condition, the drugs or the covid?

Watch this and then tell me what the cops did to cause his death. Earn huge bonus points if you can show me anything that they did to Floyd that resembled racism

After watching this video I don't see how a jury could convict them. There is reasonable doubt for sure. The medical examiners office appears to have been politicized.

Excellent point. The officer could be following SOP with that move for that amount of time and thus be found innocent. But that procedure needs drastic attention. I mean, once the person is subdued and cuffed there should be no need to maintain that "hold" on them.
Yeah. Knees to the throat probably should be removed from the SOP.

That being said, almost every single way to restrain someone, even the non lethal ones, can be lethal. Its a tight rope to walk.

This was bad but Floyd was saying he couldn't breath before he was put on the ground. He also asked them to put him on the ground. It wasn't right how it happened but ultimately it was the drugs that killed him.

Did they sit on it to keep the protests going?
I don't know, if they're elected my guess would be self preservation.

Mind you the officer could have and should done better. His training should have told him that a very apprehensive and agitated subject who admitted to taking drugs becoming calm and quiet was a bad sign. He's not guilty of murder, I'm not sure he's guilty of a crime at all but he could have done better.
