Are you suggesting that Iowa State is more respected than Tennessee? Because the lousy call in their game with Texas got a ton of pub.

Your counter, nobody in the media has said it was a catch. Well frankly I choose to follow my own eyes instead of some talking head that probably never even looked at it.

NO, I never saw the play between Iowa State and Texas. You would never admit it but if the same call went against Alabama and St. Nick while playing Tennessee and it hurt there chances at another championship then it would be addressed a lot more than it is now. I never said any other team was more respected than Tennessee, I said Tennessee as a program has not been respected in quite a few years. Spin it anyway you want to.

I think it was a fumble.
I think the endzone fumble rule is dumb.
I don't think we were cheated because even though the rule is dumb it is the rule.
I think it was very close and can understand others thinking he broke the plane.

But you are on this like a rival fan.

The same thing happened to Alabama in the 2010 Iron Bowl. If Bama scores on that drive, AU might not have come back and might not have won the BCSNCG. I did not argue that the rule should be changed, and I don't recall any Bama fans doing so either.

Because I think our fanbase is acting as stupid as every other fanbase we constantly make fun of. It's retarded when other fans do it and I expect more out of our fans; maybe that's my mistake, expecting too much out our fans.

The only complaining I've done is when a stinkin' bammer comes in here weighing in. Your opinion I respect, his not so much. The difference in me and you is that I don't think you're an idiot or blind for having your opinion, while at the same time you have said it's so obvious it's a fumble your seeing things through orange colored glasses or you're a homer. I don't think it's a black or white issue (obligatory racist).

My point has always been that you can't tell whether he lost control or not on the replay so the call on the field should have stood. If the call on the field had been a fumble I would have felt the same way. The camera angles were bad.

You're a Vol fan I'm a Vol fan and we should just agree to disagree, shake hands and move on. You good with that?

Edit: I'm still good with that despite being called stupid.

While I agree that it was a fumble, it's very close. I don't think it's that big a streach to think Pig could have crossed the goal line.

Weather you intend to or not, you're coming off as almost happy we lost.

I will settle this debate. The call on the field should never have been overturned because there has not been nor there ever will be a single strand of evidence that proves indisputably that while Pig was touching the ball as it crossed the plane that he did not have control. It's as simple as that. Yes it looks like he might not have control and it looks like he did have control but the world will never know for sure. Yes I am a self proclaimed expert and deem this ruling final.

He lost control when his right hand comes off the ball, you can tell it wasn't him switching to his left hand because the force of his right hand slipping moved his hand almost all the way to his left elbow.

It was a fumble, it was clear as day, your arm does not move that way if you're switching the ball purposely. After his hand slips off, the ball control is lost, and what you're seeing is him trying to regain possession. Even when he hits the ground, the first hing he does is try to get up and find the ball, but it's already out of bounds.

He fumbled, he knew he fumbled, it's not debatable to anyone who knows anything about sports. Once his right hand comes off, you even see the trajectory of the ball change. That = loss of control
