Gays can do whatever they want. As far as the whole gay marriage thing.. I will NOT vote for it until I see PRECISE wording that churches are protected from discrimination suits for refusing to perform ceremonies for gay couples.

As far as Sean Penn goes, he can take his self righteous, condescending ass and jump into a lake full of rabid alligators. I can't stand Hollywood's self importance, and how they have 4011 award shows to make themselves feel important, and he is a prime example. He makes his living by reciting memorized lines in front of a camera... that does not give him any authority in any kind of world affair.

there are lots of things those guys wouldn't have done if they had known or had ANY idea resembling the future. Many of those things you would probably like and many you wouldn't.

Why does it bother you so much? Are they infringing on your rights to do as you wish? Is it causing you hardship?

You don't like it, therefore it shouldn't exist. I don't like it either, but guess what? I don't care because they aren't affecting me adversely

I am and it has nothing to do with what the gays are doing. Just because I am a Christian it should bother me? I don't buy into it, because again, they aren't affecting me adversely nor are they you.

It is a non issue until they make it an issue.

Those that make a spectacle of themselves are classless as far as I'm concerned.

You should read And the Band Played On by Randy Shilts.

Shilts was gay journalist who died of AIDS. In his book, he documents how this nation was adversely affected. Even after science proved unprotected sex was the major cause of the spread of AIDS. The gay community reacted almost violently to shutting down the gay bathhouses. They scoffed at the idea of practicing safe sex. They continued to donate blood, even though they were warned against it until an effective screening procedure could be set in place.

I'm not professing any sides here but I'm wondering (not curious lol)...do you believe there were no homosexuals back then? Or that they were just too afraid to admit it?

How many of today's politician's are gay or bi or flavor-of-the day?
