Yes. I had one friend who struggled with weed and one with alcohol. But we were all in the same group of friends.

I can tell you their names and birth dates and college major if that would help.

I'm sorry man, I just don't buy into the whole Satan had a foothold on his life and that's why he was spiraling into addiction.

I know you made it to to illustrate another point, but I just feel that people use religion sometimes as a crutch for just being a dumbass.

Some do, some don't, but I have seen way too many people go to God when it's going bad, or say they are going to God, then you see them when it's good and they are so coked out their teeth are chattering.

my brother is a life long devout christian and an alcoholic. i'm an agnostic and have no problems with alcohol.

Never went to either of those places, after my time I guess. Some of the people were shady but that goes for any club you go to.

Actually come to think of it. One of the best looking ladies I know is a lesbian. She's had her time with men though. She's really confused, but when I met her she was in a lesbian relationship and still to this day dabbles with the females.

No doubt. Not trying to paint with a broad brush but the majority I have seen and been around usually consist of a butch or two butches in the pair.

No doubt about it. Every time my uncle was in prison he got "right" with god and then after he got out he would go back into his old ways.

I guess I don't know how to explain it, but when one tries something the first time it gives Satan an "in". Satan wants to destroy any chance at a relationship with Christ and he is going to attack that "in" he has on you to put that wedge between you and God.

Our forefathers came to this country so that straight white men could hunt and drink beer without bein' hit on by a bunch of sissies, or have a bunch of leslies hittin' on their wives. If them sickos want to marry each other, let 'em move to Thailand with the rest of the freaks.

I understand with people who are very consistent with their belief in God to have that thinking even if I personanlly don't have that belief. I have no problem with that, but I have known people, like your Uncle, who just get right when the time fits them or they need money, etc.

Agreed. Much as one poster said one who dabbles with lezbos isn't gay, one who dabbles with Christ isn't a Christian.
