I suppose that is a foreign term to you, so you have 0 military background and no male genes.
True, Disney is cutting jobs, but not park jobs. So this is somewhat bending the narrative. The job cuts are going to be in other areas like ESPN and their entertainment division. Parks will not see layoffs. And yet, one company is cutting jobs and the other is hiring. Interesting, no?

ESPN Layoffs are Coming Soon — and nearly everyone is vulnerable
ESPN’s latest round of layoffs will have “no sacred cows,” meaning everybody from top on-air people to big-time executives are being scrutinized with the cuts expected to be finalized in the next four-to-six weeks, The Post has learned.
At the direction of ESPN chairman Jimmy Pitaro, heads of departments have been told to scrutinize their divisions to make them as efficient as possible. At this time, there is no target number for how many millions that ESPN must save or how many employees will be let go, according to sources.
ESPN declined comment.
In recent years, ESPN has spent heavily on top commentators, like Troy Aikman ($18 million per year), Joe Buck ($15 million per year) and Stephen A. Smith ($12 million per year) and they are still in add mode as they are in on the Pat McAfee sweepstakes, according to sources.
Meanwhile, the ESPN belt-tightening is already being felt in negotiations with college football national championship game-caller Chris Fowler. Fowler, who reportedly makes around $3 million per year, and ESPN have been far apart in negotiations, according to sources.

I live in central Florida. Disney isn't the be all end all. But if they went under, someone would fill the void. Universal would get bigger, Sea World would get bigger and maybe a new start up theme park would show up. Maybe more people would come over to the Space Coast and see actual space stuff instead of Disney fantasyI have a vested interest in Disney’s success, as every Central Florida resident should.

Walt Disney World in Orlando will reportedly host a conference on gay and transgender rights in the workplace, with thousands of people expected to attend the three-day summit in September.
Disney will play host to the annual Out & Equal Workplace Summit scheduled to take place September 12 to 14, according to a Miami Herald report. The conference will draw a large range of corporate executives, including HR professionals and DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) administrators from companies across the country.
The conference boasts several corporate sponsors, including Apple, Amazon, Uber, Walmart, and even Cracker Barrel. Disney has reportedly committed to hosting next year’s conference as well. Last year’s summit took place in Las Vegas.
