ABC News Sends Heads Rolling as Part of Disney’s 7,000 Layoffs — Even Top Executives Get Pink Slips
ABC News is laying off dozens of employees, including some of its highest-ranking executives, as part of the Walt Disney Co.’s ongoing round of layoffs that will see 7,000 employees depart the company.
In all, ABC News is expected to lay off 50 individuals—including an executive producer close to Good Morning, America co-anchor and former Clinton administration official George Stephanopoulos—according to a Variety report.
Other executives getting pink-slipped include the head of ABC News’ investigative unit, the network’s Los Angeles bureau chief, and the network’s chief spokesperson.
ABC News has been caught up in a series of embarrassing journalism scandals in recent years.
During the Trump administration, the news network aired what turned out to be a false report claiming Donald Trump directed Michel Flynn to make contact with Russian officials during the 2016 presidential campaign. In reality, Trump made that order as President-elect, thus establishing international relations during his transition into the White House.
ABC News retracted the report and fired longtime correspondent Bob Ross.

what an asshat'Buckle up': DeSantis tells Disney their war is NOT over and more is 'coming down the pike' in speech mocking Florida Democrats as a 'dead carcass on the side of the road'
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis warned the Walt Disney Company to 'buckle up' as their war was not over yet and he has more fire power to send their way.
DeSantis was left scrambling after a last-minute deal the Walt Disney Company cut with a board it controlled removed much of the power of the new incoming board that the Florida governor appointed.
He acknowledged that Disney used an obscure legal cause tied to King Charles III to get around his takeover attempt when he spoke to Republicans in Midland, Michigan, on Thursday.
'They tried to pull a fast one on the way out the door. They've been caught on that so all I can say as that story's not over yet, buckle up,' he said. 'There's going to be more coming down the pike.'

So do you think Disney pays too much in taxes?A Republican threating more taxes and tolls. Guess taxes are only bad when you are not trying to punish people trying to visit a private company since Disney is not paying these, the visitors will bear the burden.

edit: couldn't get the insert link to work on my phone.
I don't live in Florida and certainly don't GAF what happens there. That entire state could burn to the ground and I wouldn't care.Pretty sure I was mocking a Republican vindictively threatening more taxes. I didn't say a thing about their current taxes.
Keep on trying to distract and ignoring the truth.
