Take small steps while running and keep your feet close to the ground. It’s way more efficient and a lot easier on your joints.I am a comically slow runner: 1.7 miles, 12 minutes pace. I have not run a mile in years. Going to start working up to the 8k we have here in Kingsport.
We walk a couple miles every day, and so I ran this directly after my walk.
sorry, I started posting these reports back when it was just a running thread. no complaints though. Please, edit your post to expound upon your activity. In prior posts, you aver that you are doing little more than walking the stairs. I suspect that your report isn’t about walking 1.6 flights of stairs in 14 minutes and 30 seconds. If it is, then, please explain .6 flight of stairs… Being John Malkovich?

1.6 miles in 14:30. Today was 1.6 miles in 14:20.
I am up to doing 9 stories of stairs on days I don't run.
I also hit the gym after running most of the time.
city running yes, but I don't have to stop much. I go "with" the main road, early in the morning, so there is very little cross traffic. I do have to constantly check behind me when crossing a curb cut, but typically no one there, or they are clearly waiting. I have tripped a time or two from that, but nothing bad. This is city running isn’t it? Are you having to stop for crosswalks and whatnot?
I road run early so I clip those small led flashing lights to my high visibility vest.city running yes, but I don't have to stop much. I have a flash light I carry if its dark, and I have a good bit of UT orange on, and thats pretty high-vis.
