How Interstate Highways Gutted Communities—and Reinforced Segregation | HISTORYI'll start with the interstate system.
We don’t know if it was the appropriate progress because it was govt diktat. What progress was destroyed or eliminated because the resources were centrally directed? Would we have had magnet trains, hover vehicles, or some other technology we can’t even imagine, etc? We’ll never know because the private market was robbed of capital to pay for a project the government thought we needed.Never claimed appropriate progress didn't come with a cost.
Take the roads in your town or city if you need a different example. We don’t know if it was the appropriate progress because it was govt diktat. The government baited some smooth brained rednecks into planning a plot to kidnap Whitmer and then busted them for planning a plot to kidnap Whitmer. Overall a bunch of dumbasses all around sadly some of them had badges.
Ok yea I heard about this. I didn’t know it had been resolved. It was all a setup? It’s finished now?12 or 13 government informants talked 1 guy into a kidnapping plot

Probably not a good example. I live in Shelby County where the government is failing. Services are drying up but tax collection remains robust. The roads are in sh!t shape (as expected) with ever increasing revenues.Take the roads in your town or city if you need a different example.
