Yes. I hope we win every game from here on out and for the rest of the year. Then I hope we fire Martin. Because if this team, which has the talent, wins from here on out, it will be all on the players, Zo has already proven his inept ability to be the head coach at UT.

Ok first of all to Henley. The first year he over achieved a lot. Last year we finished where projected with Maymon but he was out the whole year. This is the first team even near the top 30. This year he should make it. We were around 26-30something preseason. That ranking was assuming a healthy Maymon and Hubbs. Hubbs was out most of the year and Maymon has no lift. If we make the tourney we still meet expectations for the year. I'm not happy about some things but if we dance we will have accomplished what we set out to minus our top reserve and with one of our two big men hobbled.

To Rudy. Thats not how sports work. Pearl underachieved a couple of years and bounced back the next year. Have you forgotten 2008-2009? Ranked #14 preseason. Chism, Hopson, T Smith, Prince etc. Lost to Temple by 16, Auburn, Ole Miss, Bama and Miss State. 19 wins regular season. First round loss in the NCAA as #9 seed. #9 seed with two wins in the SEC tourney. SOS only in the 30s compared to top 20 this year. The next year he had his best season and got us to the Elite Eight. By your logic he should have won 8 games.

Why would he be lame duck if he makes it and they keep him? 90% chance he would get a year added on. If not the should fire him.

Me, personally, I would prefer to NOT make the tourney if we get eliminated in a game like the one against Michigan in 2011. Sitting at home is better, to me, than losing to M.T.S.U. in the first round (N.I.T.) or getting blown out on national t.v. by Michigan....

Had we made the right hire at the time, then yes it was good for the program. But we all see how that turned out.

As to the poll question, If TN could make the tournament and ensure that CM would still be gone, then YES. If it meant CM would stay, then NO.

Well I voted "Yes" but that likely only extends the nightmare for another boring season! I don't get where some are saying next year will be better. Not sure who they plan on having to score points when we lose Stokes, McRae, Maymon & Barton

Then you and any 'Vol fan' you allow into your home are non Vol fans and pieces of crap. You obvioiusly know whats best for UT. I wouldn't allow that garbage in my house.

NO. I'm all for anything that increases the odds of getting CM fired. And against anything that likely might help in keeping him at UT. No no no!!

It was irritating, but I don't choose my friends based on their rooting preferences or what their take on an athletic program is.

Yes but we don't have a change, wish we could we will lose 2 more before the SEC tournament starts we will find a way to lose like all year when you think we might put together a 5 game winning streak bam out now where we lose somehow.

Does anyone really think we got a chance of getting him back if there is a coaching change, I have never heard of a school firing a coach in any sport then rehiring would be a first.

Voted No, but Vol fan. If not getting into Tournament helps chances of us getting BP back where he belongs, then so be it.
Make no mistake....we will loose some games. But, if you had to pick a game to lose....a game which, in turn, brought many more wins......Which game would you choose? Liars?

Hate to say it but no. Hate to say it but I agree with Spartavolawhatever. Pulled for a knock out blow for Dooley to get canned for the greater good. Same goes for Zo.....nice guy...but he just lacks "IT"......whatever "IT" is he just doesn't have it :no:
