Donald Trump goes off

I'd be more interested in seeing Obama's college transcripts. Particularly some evidence that he actually earned the privilege of being editor of the Harvard Law Review.

Really?? What is it about him that makes you think he didn't earn it? You should want to view other "Harvard Review" editors' transcripts as well. More times than not, a Harvard Review editor would normally be lauded for various reasons. In Obama's case, it must have been rigged, or that's what a faction of right wingers think anyway.

I could actually care less

how about the fact he didn't once qualify for the honor roll at his undergrad colleges?

He never made the honor roll while in college? So?? What if his extra curricular activities were impressive enough to offset an average GPA? Sometimes those things matter just as much. It's not always all about the grades when those positions are awarded.

it only became an issue when people started lauding obama as some sort of genius and used it as a reason he would be a good president.

I don't remember anyone lauding him as a genius. I've seen a number of conservatives make the same claim as you. Just don't remember any sustained dialogue concerning his intellectual prowess. He's earned two degrees from the Ivy League. Isn't the easiest thing to do in the world

so did W but he was portrayed as a drooling moron. Can't see why his grades would be of interest to people?

Historian Michael Beschloss: “Uh. I would say it’s probably - he’s probably the smartest guy ever to become President.”

are you seriously arguing that a guy who can't maintain a 3.5 any semester at a private undergrad school could be qualified to be the editor of the harvard law review?

i don't even know what to say to this. are you seriously arguing that people didn't laude him as a genius? i know plenty of idiots with ivy league degrees and i assure you it's very easy to get good grades so why couldn't he do it?

Portrayed as a moron by whom? SNL's skits??? LOL. Liberal commentator??? LOL. W didn't help himself out any with his manner of presentation

No one of significant relevance ever portrayed W as a moron

this is some amazing selective memory.

Yes, I am seriously stating it. You're seriously stating someone with a 3.5 is that much more qualified than someone with a 3.0. We will have to agree to disagree on that one

You assure me????????????????? LOL at your misplaced arrogance

BS. You don't know that many idiots with Ivy degrees and you don't have the first clue if you think it is easy to get good grades an Ivy League school. Stop it.

You probably shouldn't say anything unless you are trying to be the know-it-all that is actually a know nothing :birgits_giggle:

Everybody questioned W's intelligence. I don't know one way or the other, but there were more than a few times where he didn't seem like the most articulate gent on a mic.

Dude.

Seriously.

so it is your memory that no one really questioned bush's intelligence?

While we've never directly debated with one another, I've noticed you often insert your words into others' mouths. Have you actually read my posts? If so, then you will see I acknowledged the fact that political commentator and comedians questioned it. You will also see that I said that I never saw anyone with significant relevance question it.

Do you even have a memory or do you make it up as you go in an effort to offset your weaknesses with debate? :)

who do you consider of significant relevance?

Very few in the media. I would say that O'Reilly is significant. He never portrayed W as a moron and actually knows the difference between a liberal and a secular progressive, unlike most right wing conservatives. George Will would be significant in my book. All the major news directors and anchors would qualify. You may call most of them liberal, but none, if any, openly questioned Bush's intelligence. That was always done by the pundits and loudmouths

a news anchor is going to call the president an idiot?

My point exactly. The people that portrayed him as a moron are insignificant in the grand scheme. Just because SOME people listen to a loudmouth like Chris Mattews doesn't make Matthews significant as a bearer of the truth

Now, there were a lot of people of significance(his Dad, his Dad's advisors, almost all of military brass) that questioned his approach to Iraq.
