Don't know if true but I'm not happy...(Memphis St series)

Lulz. Backpedaling and misdirection. I love it.

It's amazing how ruined you've become in this thread.

MOAR POSTS.

and its amazing how you and judge appear very similar. your making statements that are flat out false, then link the website where you get your info, and it shows your full of it. PRICELESS my memphis friend.:eek:lol:

how am i backpedaling and misdirection??? im addressing all the BS statements that you have made, im sorry you have said things were facts when flat out they were BS.

ive become ruined? haha, your the one who has proven that you spew out BS like it's your job yet claim it to be a fact. then link the website you get your info from just to show you were wrong to begin with and were making up your own version of things.

once again, i'll sit and wait while you tell me how uconn was a 9 in your statement yet according to your website were the last 10 seed.

also tell me how pastner not losing another c-usa game worked out for you, btw in case you forgot i called that one.

to be honest though what else would most expect from a memphis and a U fan. a sleezy, slime ball who thinks that they are right and everyone else is wrong. feels that their opinion is fact no matter what the truth is, their opinion is all that matter, becuae in their mind they are always right.

When you lose arguments, as you have in this thread MANY times, you simply move down the latter to the next argument, or you nitpick an insignificant fact that has no bearing on your or my point in an effort to be right about something/anything. It's funny.

For instance, you claimed that UConn was out of the dance before last night's win, so I linked you to a site where 67 of out 69 basketball analysts had UConn ranked as a 10 seed prior to last night. When you saw that, your next tact was to argue that I'm lying because they were listed as a 10 seed rather than a 9 (I admittedly thought they were a 9 because I looked to the right fo their name, not the left), as if that makes you any less wrong on your point.

Just admit that you're wrong and go about your day.

you talk about me losing arguements and that i move on to the next, except it's so funny that you continue to dance around the fact you were wrong on calling a 9 seed, on saying all teams under 30 get in, that pastner wouldnt lose a c-usa game again, and that clearly memphis was improving...

quote me where i said that AS OF LAST NIGHT THEY WERENT IN THE TOURNAMENT, and ill gladly admit i was wrong.

now you stated that they were a 9 seed when in fact they were the last 10 seed. so just admit you were wrong on that topic, as well as the topic that pastner wouldnt lose another c-usa game this year and that memphis was clearly improving, and that NO TEAM had ever been left out with a rpi under 30 and go on about your day...

:whistling:

you cant sit here and ask one person to admit fault while you cant do the same for yourself, that's only something a memphis or a U fan would do...oh wait!

I'm not going to get into details on each team and how far they'd fall, it all depends on who the loss was. UCONN WAS out but with on win got put in, what makes you say with one bad loss they wouldn't be right back out? Hell UCONN could lose 2 games and still have a rpi in the top 30 and probably not get in.

There we are.

Ouch.

can you not read, they were out. i never specified when this was, they were out of the brackets recently i didnt specify last night or last week, because quite frankly i cant remember when it was that i saw it.

but i know that since bracketology came out at one point when i looked they were out and they picked up a decent win and then were in.

once again clearly reading comprehension would do you some good, i never once specified when this win was that i was referring to, because as i already said im not quite sure exactly. but way to look like an idiot though, not that you hadnt already accomplished that reputation on this board.

what's that? they're a 9 seed? YEA here's my link to prove it. oh well this link actually says they're the last 10, but nice try!

so completely back to my original statement of 1 more bad loss and uconn would be back out of the tournament , and you saying that was ridiculous. not so ridiculous is it? they are a 11 seed, 1 more bad loss would knock them back out of the tournament.

Thank you, come again!:salute::salute:

Before last night, their last decent win (Seton Hall) was two and a half weeks ago. But sure, I just can't read and we're all supposed to understand your gibberish.

Good points, all around.

GJ, guys.

Did you count all those?

Before last night, their last decent win (Seton Hall) was two and a half weeks ago. But sure, I just can't read and we're all supposed to understand your gibberish.

Good points, all around.

Who told you to go and assume it the way that you'd like? I made a comment and instead of asking me what i meant by it, you decided to interpret it how you wanted to and ran with it, thinking that i was wrong about something, when in all actuality what you're saying i was wrong about wasnt even what i was talking about.

It's fine continue to dodge all the statements that i point out you have made that were false, and continue to just make little comments towards me like "my gibberish", whatever helps you sleep at night.

i just find it hysterical that you can honestly sit there and just never admit that you are wrong, it truly is priceless. if i was wrong about uconn id admit it, but i wasnt you just misinterpreted what i said, i was though wrong about st. louis, wow see how hard that is to do you should try it.

it just is really sad that i point out statement after statement that you have made which turned out to be false yet you sit there and dance around these statements and avoid them as much as you can. does it trouble you that much to admit that you were wrong about something?

i know you are a memphis and a U fan and are used to getting things your way but c'mon man, when its laid out right in front of your face and you still wont admit you were wrong thats just pathetic.

heres some things you were wrong on if you decide to man up and admit you were wrong:

-swearing that UCONN was a 9 seed, even saying by your link they were
-saying that if your RPI is under 30 you automatically get in the tournament
-saying memphis wouldnt lose another c usa reg season game this year
-saying that memphis is clearly improving

i'll keep it simple for you, and will try to take this one step at a time and not overwhelm you, if you are able to admit you were wrong on those topics that will definitely be progress. just remember "baby steps"...

They are the best intra-State team we face. It helps our SOS and RPI when we play them.
Oh well, there are other teams out there.

SPIT TAKE.

Now, I'll admit that Pastner has his faults, but he was 24-10 in his first season and was on the bubble for the dance. He made the NIT and signed the 2nd best recruiting class in the nayion.

Martin is what, 12-12 and on pace to miss the post-season entirely? Come man, Martin may turn into a good coach down the road, but you guys are awful his first year. I've tried to tell you guys that this will be a growing process under him.

Whoa.... a lock for the NIT you say? I stand corrected. I didn't know that Martin got his official "You're a lock for the NIT" letter yet from the selection committee. Congrats. Good thing they got rid of that pesky .500 requirement, huh?

As for having a shot at the NCAA's, don't do this to me man. I'm trying to have an adult conversation here. I can't do that when you throw these hints out there that you're actually an 8 year old girl with no grasp on the game of basketball.

To all the normal, rational UT fans out there, I'm not trying to be mean, but UT has no shot at the dance. I'm truly sorry. Things will get better.

Please. Stop it. I'm trying to get some work done and I can't when I'm dying from laughter.

That's a lot of text and I'm not reading it all, but from skimming, I'll say this:

1. For UT's "domination" of Memphis in the series, in the Martin and Pearl era, UT is exactly .500 against Memphis.

2. In Pastner's first year, with talent comparable to what Martin has this year, he was at least in bubble discussions. Martin is playing for an NIT bid at this point, which isn't necessarily a knock on him.

3. Memphis is one of the more underrated teams out there at this point. RPI= 19, Kenpom= 17, BPI= 17, Sagarin= 19, all with a strength of schedule of 7th. Pastner has the boys playing rather well.

BUMP.

:eek:lol:

Memphis takes the CUSA regular season title today @Tulsa...with the CUSA tourney coming up at FedExForum...we could very well be 26-8 heading into selection sunday with an RPI around 14-15.

Love the bump here. There's a huge, steaming pile of crow waiting to be eaten.

dont hold your breath on him showing up for that.

if/when he does he will change the subject and at no ponit admit he was wrong.

its ok though, everyone else is seeing how dumb the memphis fan was/is.

If we end up making the tourney, this should get bumped as much as the "goodbye Cuonzo" tread.

even if we dont i will...

he laughs at us being NIT bound, pretty much saying we'd miss the NIT

then says we have NO CHANCE at the ncaa and its laughable to even discuss

also talks about how pastner first year memphis was bubble team and went NIT, and that was far superior to what Martin was gonna do :eek:lol:

You're really going to bump all your fail in this thread? I was gonna be nice and just let this one go to the horrible thread graveyard.

I MAY (may) have been wrong about UT not going to the dance. We'll have to see this weekend I guess.

You have now OFFICIALLY been wrong about a dozen or so things in this thread. Why you would want to bring it out of retirement is beyond me.

Haha ok.

Your quote in another thread" I never said UT had no chance"

Your quote in this thread "UT has no chance"

There's no you MAY have been wrong you were. Tennessee has a chance seeing as how they're the next team in.
