i agree that great coached make good players great and our offense has improved. yes bray makes bonehead plays but so did favre and him in the nfl, that is the risk you take with those type of qbs, zrogers has better hands, hunter is just hunter, our running game is much improved. that is developing. our defense scheme changed yes i agree that sal may have been a bad hire but you allow your coach to fix it in the offseason. i even think that dooley may not turn into the general neyland or fulmer but to get the eye of a great coach that everyone wants you have to have a stable and good looking product to sell and dooley can get you to that point.
Really goin' out on a limb there, aren't we?

As soon as Bray's upside turns into Favre's upside, i.e. being one of the greatest to ever play the game, then that comparison will be valid. Using traits of arguably the greatest of all time to excuse the performance of an amateur is pretty much never a good idea.
That being said, Bray isn't even the point of what I was saying. My point is that Dooley has the talent NOW to have won every game this year sans the Bama game. He simply does not have the x's and o's coaching ability to elevate this program anymore than he already has. With nearly any other coach currently in the SEC, we have 1 loss on our record. We've been outcoached in every single game, bar NONE.
