Can't trust your posts bro. Your the guy that had Dooley giving the greatest HC'ing job in the history of Tennessee Football during first half of the Mizzou game post...ragging on the Dooley haters...and forgot there was another half to play for him to still screw it up :eek:lol:

Bottom line....Fulmer was fired a thousand times on this board from 2005 - 2008 and from watching his Media Session he doesn't look like he is stressed about his job but then again he can just sit at home and count his 5 mil if so!!

Seriously....I don't think we can get a good coach and that might just be in Dooley's favor!!

Take a Xanex, Crickets. A) Fulmer won a national title and 2 SEC Championships. Dooley has a lossing record... B) We are not in a place we were 3 years ago so we will hire a good coach. He can't be any worse... C) The only thing in Dooley's favor is the 5 Mil buyout. With every loss, there are more and more boosters getting pissed. More pissed boosters = more open wallets... Do the math...

Then the flood gates should open after Vandy has their way with them this week... I think we might would have a shot if Dooley wasn't stalking the sidelines.. No chance at all with him..

Per Erik Ainge: Dooley won't be officially fired until Hart has his replacement signed to contract. That is still being processed. When that happens Dooley will be fired and the new coach will be announced. Ainge says Hart doesn't want what happened on the last two hires where the coach left before we had the new coach signed. As a result the first replacement choices backed out and we were left with not so desirable choices (Kiffen and Dooley).

Dooley could still win the next three games and get another year with a different DC. That could definitely happen but after the Vandy game I'm sure that will be history.

WTF. It seems like ole Dool's is on his 9th live now. I would NEVER root against TN...but Vandy is in TN(which helps a little) and a small part of me hopes they beat TN so he gets immediately fired.

I like the guy, but he is NOT the one....

"Everybody said I was fired, and I didn't even know it and I'm sitting there working on Vandy, and I have already talked to [athletic director] Dave [Hart]," Dooley said.

Dooley and Hart speak weekly and Dooley said he felt Hart was honest about Dooley's future with two games remaining and the Vols needing two wins to reach bowl eligibility.

"We talked very frankly about it," Dooley said. "[Hart] told me he had not made a decision - if we go 6-6 - despite what all the reports are. Either the sources are wrong, or Dave wasn't being forthright with me, and I have no reason to believe Dave's not being forthright with me. He's an honest man. He's always been honest with me. I've appreciated how he's handled everything about this. I really have."

Maybe so...but like I said you can't count on the know-it-alls on this board because Fulmer had a replacement setup for 3 years
