After they drilled UCLA last year, I really thought Stoops had them headed in the right direction.
10/12-10/14
Light slate as of now.
Utah (-4) @ Wyoming
Arizona (-4) @ Stanford
Missouri (-2.5) @ Texas A&M
Last week: 7-9-1 (stupid Missouri)
YTD: 54-44-2 +9 units
So, this week, I got on lines EARLY ... like Sunday afternoon time. I made 5 bets for 5 units each, which is a first.
5 units plays
Texas (-6.5) @ Nebraska
Tulsa (-12) @ Memphis
Wisconsin (-5) @ Purdue
West Virginia (-19.5) @ Connecticut (this has moved to -23.5)
Boston College (+4.5) @ Florida State
1 unit plays
Oregon (-3.5) @ Washington State
Alabama @ Tennessee (-10.5)
Texas Tech (-2.5) @ Iowa State
Miami (-17.5) @ Duke (this opened as Miami -23.5 but moved SIX POINTS from the suspensions. Miami's non-scholarship players would beat Duke by 18+)
You should be rooting for UCONN to go to +24.5. Then you have a chance to catch a rather large middle.Last week: 7-9-1 (stupid Missouri)

I don't want to sound too dumb here but what is a middle ?
I like that middle because you have two natural margins included, 21 and 24.Yeah, a 5 point middle would be nice, and I think quite possible. With 2 HEAVY running offenses, the win shouldn't be by much more than 23, honestly. If that thing gets to 24.5, I'll take a hard look. Anything higher, I'm on it.
A middle is when you bet both sides of a huge line move.
For instance, I liked WVU early at -19.5 and I knew it was going to move away from me. If UConn +25 or 25.5 ends up happening, I'd bet UConn +25.5 or whatever.
If the game ended with WVU winning by 20-25 points, I win both bets.
