Duke/UNC Official Thread 2021/2022 (K’s Last Hurrah Edition)

Of course, ask Duke how much being the favorite means. They were favored by 4 over Carolina. UCLA was favored by 2.5 points over Carolina. Baylor was favored by 8 points over Carolina.
All it means is that Vegas decided that 4 points would get the most action on both sides. But using your same logic ask KU how being favored in all five games has worked for them. I think they’d say pretty well.

Maybe I shouldn't be surprised, but I'm a little surprised at the continued glee UNC fans over beating K because the next game is the national championship game. For UNC's sake hopefully the team is a little more forward-looking than their fanbase.

Don’t get me wrong. I hope they pull it off tonight and cut down the nets, but if they don’t, it’s still been a successful season. It would have been a successful season even if they had lost Saturday night, just not as satisfying. Every victory from Baylor forward has been a treat, beating Duke was a big slice of cake, and a win tonight would be icing on the cake.

It's not that hard, really. Saturday night was a sweet victory. UNC was NEVER supposed to get anywhere near the NC game, so to have had the run we have had, including ending K's career, AND being in the NC game....we are playing entirely on house money at this point. I think either UNC or Dook would be a bit drained after Saturday, and Kansas likely comes in with a huge chip on their shoulder given all the press that has gone to the UNC-Dook matchup.

I'd be shocked if we win. Honestly.

Carolina got better and better and even beating Duke at Cameron was savage. Not much made of it

I think UNC wins. Kansas is probably better, but UNC is on one of those magical rides that’s kind of hard to explain. Plus it’s in the Superdome, which has been very good to them over the years.

Just need Bacot to be effective enough to keep our balance and be competitive on the glass.

That limp is pretty bad this early. It won’t get any better either. I’m not sure why Kansas isn’t going inside with Bacot out
Villanova game, non withstanding, I don’t think inside is where they typically go for offense this year.

Second chance points are keeping Carolina in the game. Both teams playing really good first shot defense.
