I read earlier that if Love returns (unless someone else decides to transfer out) Carolina will be out of scholarships to offer so no stretch 4 coming from the portal, if there even is such a player.

I hadn’t heard that, but if there is, I doubt they’ll find one as good as Manek.

Athletic hinted yesterday that Keels stock might not be good enough to leave. There were apparently Roach transfer rumors that are now likely squashed after his late season play. Griffin likely to announce early next week. Duke also expected to dabble in the transfer portal again as well

I don’t think they had used all their schollies last year. Williams, Banchero, Griffin, John, K’s grandson, and at least one other player will all be gone. Somehow Baker will be back

I’ve been seeing Keels on tv the last few days promoting this medical device for Therabody. Hopefully that means they’ve kicked up an NIL deal for him and he sticks around. Roach and Keels in the backcourt would be very strong next year. If by some miracle Moore came back Duke would be a pre-season top 5 team . Duke and UNC would be off the rails next season.

I know I’m getting ahead of myself here but when’s the last time Carolina/Duke were ranked T5 early? I know it’s been a while for the Heels

Should have been ACC POY this past season. National? He should be in the conversation, but depends on if he can add a little more to his game and that the team performs better for the entirety of the season.

I’m not sure the last time both were preseason Top 5. I feel like it’s been a little bit.

I don’t know if Bacot will get NPOY, but he should’ve been ACC POY this past season and should be the preseason pick. He’ll have a target on his back for sure. UNC really needs to get a transfer stretch 4 that can shoot so teams can’t double on Bacot the entire time. Bacot won’t have an easy game next year.

There’s a lot of will he/won’t he reclassify, but then we have the problem of no available scholly without Love declaring or someone else transferring out.

Haha. I’ve seen some of these preseason rankings where they’re top 10. I’ll never be able to trust State not do what State does and absolutely blow a game. They’ve got Clemson on the road, and I think they’ll be better offensively this season. They’ve got to be right ? That’s really the only very tough road game. At UNC will be tough bc it’s a rivalry game. The UNC D should be improved with Chizik at D Coordinator… Again. They get home games against Texas Tech, FSU Va Tech and Wake. Wake might need the best team out of all them, which is nuts. They could go 11-1, but State will probably go 9-3 or 8-4. They’ll mainly care about the UNC game. Still can’t believe that miracle they pulled out last season . They can make it to Charlotte, but it depends if Clemson is really spiraling down.

I expect them to “state” a few games and end up around the record you predict but if by a miracle they end up 11-1 I’ll just avoid Raleigh Durham all together. Not to many State fans in Sanford lol

They could be good, but I just don’t know. One thing is for certain, State fans are ready to win at something . They keep getting crushed, whether it was covid keeping them out of the CWS last season or the WBB team getting hosed this year they keeping taking hits. It still feels good knowing we crushed them and CP and Zach Rogers torched David Amerson on “Amerson Island”.

I remember those days well. Hearing all week how he would take away our best WR. When he couldn’t take way our WR 2
