*****Early National Signing Day Thread*****

How in the world is Arkansas 30th in the country….but 15th in the SEC in recruiting rankings?

Insane

Hopefully. Still waiting on two of our major O-line recruits. I haven't seen strong recruiting on the O-line. I felt like we need 4-5 Olinemen in this class.
Which OL are we waiting on besides Sanders?

Campbell is a DL.

I would've liked to have seen Tennessee sign 4, which was the plan before Utu bolted. But they'll replace him with a portal lineman. Remember, we signed 6 OL in the last class (Warren, Ginther, Anderson, Satterwhite, Perry, and J. Heard).

I did hear a comment from the O-line coach that we have depth there and they are confident about the guys in waiting, I hope that pans out true.

You guys are sleeping on Max Anderson-----in the games he actually played, he grades out in the 82.6 range-----that ain't bad for a freshman

If he did that all season, he would have been our highest rated lineman. Both our starting tackles graded out in the mid-40s in our 2 losses. Dont think any of our starting 5 broke 70 against UGA. Proud of the kid for grading in the 80s, even if most of it might be against lesser teams when he got to play. We have a lot of 4* younger kids on the Oline who havent gotten their chance yet like Satterfield, Gage G., Warren, Anderson etc. The 23 and 24 classes both had a good crop of HS linemen. Need those guys to step up next season. GO VOLS

I don’t like rankings, it’s so arbitrary and rarely makes sense.

Kind of like the college playoff rankings
I don’t like the rankings either but no doubt there is a reason Oregon is the number 1 seed in the playoff right now … it’s the high level recruits they are getting at the skill positions is straight up sick… stars are accurate when they are the top of the top 9/10 times… If we dream of actually winning a championship we have to get into the top 5 on a regular basis in recruiting … the staff still has a lot of room to grow in recruiting .. especially the offensive staff and the corner recruiters
