The United States charged Snowden with theft of government property, unauthorized communication of national defense information and willful communication of classified communications intelligence to an unauthorized person, according to the June 14 criminal complaint made public on Friday.

The latter two offenses fall under the U.S. Espionage Act and carry penalties of up to 10 years in prison.

of course not, but he's gone too far.....it's one thing to tell the American public they're being spied on versus spewing all kinds of top secret info to everyone.....he doesn't need to be putting all of this out on Front St.

but it it's common knowledge then why is it too far? I mean if a few people talking about it on a message board can figure it out then I'm not sure it is very secret

While everyone thought the US and Israel did it....they didn't know for certain....maybe they did I don't know, but the guy is a loose cannon and has already ran to Russia and China with computers in tow. There's no telling what this guy has blabbed. There's no way around the fact he is a traitor. .....The UN? the question is why do we fund the UN......that is the biggest good for nothing organization in the world outside of Acorn.....but to answer your question I suppose it is why we fund the UN. I guess our intelligence thought it was a good idea to fry their computers though......and Sega's college football rocked

IMO, this is not about trusting the government. There are means in place for Snowden to have reported this information in the USA. He did not have to run to China, then Russia. I don't have a problem with Snowden reporting this info. I have a problem with how he did it. IMO he is a traitor.
