Eight years and no titles...

He has given me the same amount as power as his personal defender as he has given you to be the "conscience" of the Vol Nation.
I'll take it as a "no". So obviously you have some sort of cumpulsion that requires you to attack people in the belief that you are defending someone who has never sought your assistance. I think the clinical terminology for that is a delusion of granduer and you probably need professional help.

I think they refer to that as the perfect response. :birgits_giggle:
How's that? Did Fulmer make you a mod? If you read his prior post it is somewhat apparent that this guy is a potential whack-job.

It must have been, his only response was him telling P Diddy that he wasn't even going to discuss Fulmer anymore. :eek:hmy: :p

Yes, but I did not say I would suffer your foolish babbling.

All you guys need to take a deep breath and relax (from both sides), it's almost Christmas and we're going bowling, can't we save this crap for the post season?

No - I was not appointed a Mod by Fulmer. I thought everybody knew that Mods were nominated by the AD and then approved by the United States Senate.

I'm already getting burned-out on the subject, but I'm sure that any of the following will set me off again:

1. lose a Bowl Game
2. have a lower ranked recruiting class than UGA and UF
3. Bama actually get a "big name" HC

Well at least you're consistant.:p

VH is a hypocrit.

Calls me out for "personal attacks" and then says

your foolish babbling.

All while naming himself the VN Conscience, spending hours a day attacking people he doesn't know on the internet, and spending almost 15,000 posts attacking Phil for being overweight and not winning championships when HE says so.

You're a joke VH, and a walking contridiction. I laugh at you in my sleep while I'm undergoing my pschological treatment. LOL

Well, to be fair, he acquired over 10K of those posts in one of those "post as many times as you can in this thread" contests. :)

so what is your story? All i can tell is you do seem to have an almost unhealthy obsession w TCHFCATUTK and i know you said you were friends with him and he bought you a wedding gift and all.. but exactly what's up with it? I have every right to think it's time for a change. and calling a spade a spade, fulmer has earned his rep for his weight. it's light hearted humor that people in the spotlight get. I don't think anyone on here truly hates fulmer, we just think he's gotten a little lackadaisical on the job and either needs to step it up or retire... we're still fans, we love UT as much as anyone else if not more.

You've got every "right" to call for a change. That doesn't mean you are right though. Fulmer hasn't "Earned" any negative comments about his weight from people that don't know him. Infact, he has lost quite a bit of weight, but it doesn't make the punchlines quite as funny does it? You and VH and anyone else can think what they want about me, I don't care. But I will NOT spend my time being miserable when there are GREAT things happening all around us that some of you people can't see because you are blinded by your own agendas.

P.S. "Lackadaisical" Phil just got a HUGE commitment tonight from the number 5 athlete in the country. I'm gonna spend my time the rest of tonight celebrating THAT instead of arguing with you about Phil being fat or lazy.

can that number 5 shore up either line?

ps.. who said i was miserable? i'm quite the happy camper.

We can take it the other way. What if Ainge throws his fourth pick instead of a td against bama? Or those two tipped balls dont fall our way against sc? Or if Kentucky converts one of their red zone drives? Or we dont stop air force ( air freaking force!) on the 2-point conversion?

Often games dont come down to just one single play. That call against Leak had nothing to do with our -11 rushing yards. And we wouldnt have been sweating out lsu's last drive if our offense could have stayed on the field for more 18 minutes...or if we could have stopped Russell from running on us.

Your "what-ifs" are based upon things that never happened and would have been errors by the Tennessee players that never happened. However, the previous poster pointed out referee errors that were huge in determining the outcome of 2 games. Very very different scenarios.

First of all, your claims to be the defender of Fulmer's personal honor suggest to me a classic manifestation of Quixotic behavior which is often brought on by a delusional disorder such as schizophrenia. That coupled with the fact that you are so quick to verbally fly off the handle and attack people suggests to me that you are a potential danger. All of this is just my opinion, maybe you're just goofing around trying to stir the pot? At any rate, the tendancies that you exhibit in your posts raise some red flags to me.

Second, the "conscience of the Vol nation" is supposed to be a humorous allusion to former klan member Robert Byrd being dubed the "conscience of the senate" and it came up after the recent elections. Sorry I do not limit my study of current events to what's the daily blue plate special at the local meat-and-three.

Finally, as stated by another poster, most of my 15,000+ posts came from a contest last year. Maybe if you had been a registered user you'd have known of it or participated. I do find it intriguing that such a disciple of Coach Fulmer and UT football did not stumble upon the best non-pay UT fans site in the web until you did. I have no problem stating that I came looking for people to commisterate with after the '05 UF loss. What took you so long?

Semantics. Im discussing things that didnt happen that easily could have. Youre discussing things that happen that easily could not have happened.

The point I was trying to make is that I think the breaks evened out this year. We got some breaks in the games I mentioned, and didnt in the games you mentioned. So I dont think its warranted to say "Oh well, we were a couple plays from 11-1" because the converse is also true.

But I will NOT spend my time being miserable when there are GREAT things happening all around us

Must have missed those great things in the mist of another 3-loss season. Oh yeah, I forgot a 3-loss season is great for UT since '99.

Well see you in Feburary because according to rivals Uga and Uf have the 2nd and 3rd best recruiting class. Just for kicks, Auburn is 4 and Lsu 6, with us 7. Amazing the talent that comes down here.

Volbreaker??????

The college fball world has changed. Nobody will be king of the hill for too long, but there are very few who can be more proud than we can of our Vols. PLEASE JUST DON'T TAKE ME BACK TO THE MAJORS YEARS....or the Battle years, ect.

Please Explain this comment and correlate with USC's continued success.

Guys, I have enjoyed this forum for several years now. I have seen many personal attacks between members because someone expressed their own viewpoint and someone disagreed. I have always tried to not get emotionally upset because someone disagrees with me. I have my viewpoint about the state of Tennessee football and it doesn't look very good and many of you will disagree with me, especially the diehard Fulmer fans. One example I will use is this: Year after year, Tennessee out-recruits Kentucky for football players. Kentucky has players on their roster that Tennessee didn't even look at. Talent-wise Tennessee has a big edge over Kentucky. However, on the field, Kentucky is able to continually compete with Tennessee and will soon probably beat us. Case in point is this year's Tennessee/Kentucky football game which we barely won 17-12. Something is awry in the program and it can't be because of the lack of talent. These players are not being properly developed and their talents are not being utilized. I am not necessarily finger-pointing at Fulmer as the sole problem but, he is the head coach and he is ultimately responsible for the state of the football program. Without a doubt, Fulmer is one of the best at recruiting talented players. What is just as important though, is developing those players and their talent. Granted, every team will have their up and down years. However, I see the same pattern: lack of player development. Lack of player development allows other teams with good player development and less talent to compete on an equal basis. My opinion.
