Enemy of the People

... and he quickly caved to public pressure and ended the policy. The efforts to reunite the families have proven difficult for his administration (under court order) because so many parents were unnecessarily deported without their children. There is no excuse for that.
Proving that he is not the dictator you so desperately want him to be.

I wonder if Lebron James understands the difference between England, Great Britain and the United Kingdom? If he does, that instantly makes him more knowledgeable of world geography than the President of the United States.
I doubt he does. But he is a high school graduate. I am sure academics were high on his list there

Forget about high school... just completing the 5th grade should be enough to educate somebody that England is a single country (which still exists). Trump spoke of England in the past tense on Thursday night in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

Did you ever see Jaywalking? Watter's World? They both interviewed 20-30 somethings that couldn't tell you who the first president was, but they know all about the Kartrashians.

You’d think that libs would at least recognize when Trump says something factual

No one would have expected there to be a less educated or less sophisticated president than George W Bush. Yet, we got Trump.

Dumber. More ignorant. 3 times the calories. Awesome.

You know when you say "I miss George W Bush" without laughing, it's really, really bad.

The problem is that Trump doesn't define "Fake News" as false information. He broadly defines it as anything which reflects negatively on him, whether it's factual or not is irrelevant. Once again, if he has a problem with false information, why has he defended both The National Enquirer and InfoWars who have both either been successfully sued or are currently being sued for purposely spreading misinformation? The reason that he likes both of them (as opposed to the mainstream media), is that they defend him and spread false information about people he doesn't like.

What he means is clear, "fake news media", they act like a media outlet but are actually a propaganda outlet (faking it). Its not that the news stories are false, its the way they spin, slant every story and the decisions made on coverage heavy or light. They are now self serving and non-competitive. Used to a story broke and everyone wanted to be first to get to the bottom of it, now a reporter can get fired for reporting stories that don't meet the outlets agenda criteria. Objective reporting no longer exists.

She's absolutely right. The Press has become the enemy of the people. At least the enemy of true Americans. the media will support the Marxist and the Communist of this country. So you should be happy evillawyer

Is the press the enemy of the people or those who share a different opinion that do you and the 33%?

I, for one, am glad that someone is calling out trump on his inconsistencies, bullying, lies and uniformed approach to matters of significance.

Is a network playing actual video of trump directly contradicting his national security adviors and cabinet members on Russia fake news?

I'm guessing you don't like the conversation that follows on a network such as CNN but there are merely discussing the incredulity of a president who can't admit a fact pattern that the rest of the world acknowledges without a doubt.

What is more fake, the aforementioned or Sean Spicer claiming the inauguration crowd was the largest ever, period, or any of the litany of falsehoods that have flowed out of the WH press briefings since then?

No one says this president does not make mistakes. They focus on those issues, justifiably, with guns blazing. Why do they not do the same when an issue that helps the president is in play? They simply sidestep those issues and get back to their work of ripping the president, his family and staff on anything they can be ripped on. This is not the work of objective journalists, they are only objective to one side of the issue. Works for just about every media outlet red or blue. The funny part is they have not noticed, the harder they hit the stronger they get. They have made themselves irrelevant.

That's an opinion based on what side of the political fence you fall on. I can assure you that outside of his friendly red state confines the media is very, very relevant.

Otherwise, I think there is some truth to what you are saying, but my belief is that trump's ignorance, narcissiscm, bullying and infantile behavior are the fuel behind those attacks.

Do you believe that the media would address trump in the same manner if he didn't conduct himself in the manner that he does? (ignores or contradicts advisors, claims falsehoods as fact, name-callilng, etc.)?

C-SPAN caller threatens to shoot two CNN hosts
A man named "Don" called into C-SPAN and threatened to shoot CNN’s Brian Stelter and Don Lemon if he saw them.

“Brian Stelter and Don Lemon called all Trump supporters racist, they don’t even know us,” the man from Pennsylvania said in a call Friday “They started the war. If I see them, I’m going to shoot them.”

After making the comment, the man who identified himself as Don immediately said “bye” and hung up the phone.

Stelter shared the audio of the phone call on his show Sunday morning and claimed that he and Lemon had never called Trump-supporters racist.

However, the CNN host did say that on Thursday night Fox News’ Sean Hannity played a two-year-old clip of Stelter questioning if racial anxiety could be the cause of Trump’s success in politics.
