Enemy of the People

That's an opinion based on what side of the political fence you fall on. I can assure you that outside of his friendly red state confines the media is very, very relevant.

Otherwise, I think there is some truth to what you are saying, but my belief is that trump's ignorance, narcissiscm, bullying and infantile behavior are the fuel behind those attacks.

Do you believe that the media would address trump in the same manner if he didn't conduct himself in the manner that he does? (ignores or contradicts advisors, claims falsehoods as fact, name-callilng, etc.)?

Not as bad, but yes they would .... it's no secret the media is made up of a large contingent of liberals

To be fair he/she (Not sure which and Don’t want to assume) called me a liberal earlier. So the thought process might be off just a touch
Anyone that disagrees with him is a communist, a marxist, LBGtpqhomo (yes, he actually did), dope smoker, radical, sodomite, etc.
When I read his posts, I always think:

FYI someday when you have a lawn and take pride in home ownership you'll be saying "get the f off my lawn" all the time.

Are you always such a clueless, wrongly assuming dullard? I've owned a house since I was in my early 20's. And no, I've never rudely done that to a human.

Each television network is a small part of a much larger business. Their success or failure is primarily based on their ability to sell advertising time and create whatever public narratives are beneficial to the parent companies.
So, yah. That's what he meant by business model being the problem with modern press. It's in Big Corp's pocket and serving them as oposed to their responsibility to keep Gov't honest.

This has always been an argument on the left--But only more recently on the right

Propaganda model - Wikipedia
I'm not arguing for a side. I'm telling you the issue I've had with corporate gobble-up of the media all along. And why I call all corporate media propaganda. They are owned by the very same corporate giants that pay our gov't off for their own benefit. What makes you think they don't create the narratives for them as well?

The beautiful thing is they've programmed the lemmings to worship one side or the other, drink the propaganda from one side or the other, and distrust the alternate media as alt-right or whatever stupid narrative they can get them to regurgitate.

Of course its political and the media is liberally biased, they don't even try to hide it. They have the privilege of working under the protection of the 1st amendment, which is a huge responsibility. Their job is to utilize their 1st amendment rights to report objectively to the people. Once they openly take a political side and base their reporting on how it affects the party (either party) they become a propaganda outlet and should no longer be labeled as free press. I don't care what he did or how much they hate him they can't continually report the negative side only and call themselves journalists. Misuse of the power.

I agree and contended many years ago that the introduction of news entertainment was bad because of how divisive it was making us.

I check in on many news outlets daily and I'm familiar with the slants on each side, and appreciate the objectivity and fact-based reporting of those in the middle.

However, any rational objective person can follow trump, just the his words and actions with no bias or spin, and conclude that he's dangerous.

I worked for a company that gave me a pension. I also saved my ass off and accumulated a lot of money.
Explain to me why I would ever support a party that thinks that I need to share what I have with anyone other than whom I chose?
If you hate Trump, too F'in bad.

Dangerous? How so?

What kind of house is it?

George Dubya says hello

Did you ever see Jaywalking? Watter's World? They both interviewed 20-30 somethings that couldn't tell you who the first president was, but they know all about the Kartrashians.

Mark dice has some interviews of young people on SoCal beaches that should makes everyone cringe no matter what party they belong to.

You truly have not caught on to this internet message board thing have you? It was a "jab", not a declaration of fact. You wonder why people come at you so hard. You make it too easy.

LaCosta says his life was in danger at the last rally. Claims the media is not the enemy.

I don't know, you call supporters toothless, racist, white supremacists that hate black people and hope immigrants die. Then he is surprised they are upset with him when he covers their rally. Really????
