There's a couple ways to look at this. First, I'm mostly talking about "todays" coaching. Second, mostly talking about the offense. Yes, I am begging for Martinez to be fired and am not sold on Banks. Third, I think the secondary is what it is.

Hyatt had a TD in the first half, he either slowed up or Hooker overthrew him. Another in the second half was wide open in the endzone and Hooker threw to opposite side of field. Receivers were schemed open we just missed them. The punt that wasn’t fielding was a wasted offensive series and almost a guaranteed score for Georgia.

Idk that this secondary can be “coached” to be better. I will say the missed tackles pisses me off.

Well for those who say our defense was bad…the defense held them to under 490 yards offense and 20 points below their average. On top of that Georgia had a 21-3 lead 53 seconds into the second quarter. From that point Tennessee outscored them 10-6. Now a loss is a loss but Tennessee is back in play because they shouldn’t drop further than #5. Clemson and Alabama both lost today.
Probably 1. Georgia
2. Ohio St
3. TCU
4. Michigan.
Michigan and Ohio st play each other later. Plus I doubt TCU stays unbeaten. So we get cranked back up and we’re back in.

They might have had 5 * talent and did win a natty but Smart ate his lunch today. He made CJH look really really average today.

Literally the only complaint that I have right now with this coaching staff is that we need to pick it up more in recruiting and I am not sure we are even done there yet. That is literally it. I love this staff.

Do you really think UGA has that much more talent than Bama does? Not a great argument you’re making. Heupel has done a good job this year but he crapped the bed today, as did Hooker, the O-line, the secondary, pretty much the whole team.

Hooker had a bad game, he is a very good qb but just had a bad game. deep routes that were open, he over threw them and he has been hitting them. I can think of three that would have been td if caught. He just over threw them. and every player has a bad game, this just happened at the worst time possible.

we played bama at home, ga on the road, it does make a difference. many of our penalities were due to crowd noise.

Bama just lost to LSU.
Our offense was virtually unaffected by Bamas pass rush. Our receivers beat Bama D backs regular.
We ran the ball better against Bama.
So yes UGA is more talented.
The Home field crowd effected our O line just like ours did Bama’s.
So you’re weak argument that the coaches crapped the bed is laughable!
Much better D, on the road vs home against Bama and it’s Coach Huep’s fault?

That was a probably the most promising thing I heard tonight. I’m PO’d about the loss and deep in a BVS relapse but that means something. Great year and we’re going 11-1 dammit

Georgia played well. We didn’t. Anyone who has ever played sports has known what its like to have a bad day!
Here’s the kicker, it was the perfect day to lay an egg. Clemson, Bama, and others losing.
Next ranking UGA, OSU, MICH, TCU, TENN
We still ranked 5th and osu plays mich!
Yes someone could jump us but we are still in position to be in playoff!
I firmly believe we can play much better than today on a neutral court and a different day and a plan to deal with blitzes!
It stings no doubt. But damn we still have a lot to play for!

How do you scheme around your Oline getting their asses handed to them? I kind of agree with you though, I thought Bama had way more talent but they didn’t adjust to stop us. Georgia had more talent and they had a good game plan.
