quit questioning dooley until you know the whole story. dooley is focusing on the UNVERSITY OF TENNESSEE FOOTBALL TEAM FOR THIS YEAR right now. he just recruited his butt off for us and now your saying this. give the guy a break weve got a year of recruiting to go. go vols!
Again why the heck would the kid care who we had offered at TE? The kid projects to be an OT and shouldn't be worried. If he is that worried, he should call the staff and ask what is going on with his offer OR at the very least come to junior day and see where he stands with the new staff. I admire that the kid has stuck with the Vols through all of the coaching changes but he is being kind of childish here from what I can tell.On TOS his dad is on their and said that was a big reason in why. Said he teared up when he read about the Washinton TE getting offered when he still hadn't heard from DD. GBO

Maybe Dooley didn't want him? Maybe? I'm a die hard Vol too and would love to play for UT, but Dooley hasn't called me one time.
I think threads like this are the by-product of having a coach who doesn't run his mouth and break rules...
There's nothing football related to talk about right now and unless our coach says/does something stupid/immature there won't be until March/April so certain people who need constant headlines to feel secure are going nuts...and starting threads about topics that already have 2-3 threads available for discussion
To me, it's not this particular player that is concerning, but listening to MacLean's coach it was kinda shocking how MacLean was recruiting UT so hard and was seemingly not getting any attention in return. The coach had to call us on a player who had been as rock solid as Eric and we give him a lukewarm response. Granted, they did invite him to junior day, but something doesn't sit well with me about this thing. I think if they didn't want him they should have told his coach. Instead, Coach Baggett gives him a lukewarm answer they are "evaluating" him. I hope this isn't a pattern with guys who want to be Vols that have talent. I'm willing to sit tight and wait, but some things about the junior recruits kinda bothers me for one reason or another.
I think we just need to let these coach's do their thing...they know more about what's going on than anyone on here...we will be ok...we still almost a year till NSD...Go VOLS!
I can't remember a time when I was more ashamed of a portion of our fanbase. UGA, South Carolina, and Bammer may have more idiots but I think we have the market cornered on fairweather, pansy fans that whine and complain about any and everything associated with our program. Take your fairweather, not so fresh feeling down the road and support another team. STOP MENSTRUATING ON THE BOARD! lol:
