Whether or not they will be fine is not the question. These are friends and associates of Lebron who have helped him and done right by him. Should he just **** them all over for no reason other than to make a point because they'll be fine? So stupid.

The NBA would survive, but how do you not understand what the extra $billions represent?

The reason is to speak out against systemic oppression and racism no? Isn't that what they plan on wearing on their backs this year?

And how exactly is that crapping all over the others? He loses a fraction, they lose a fraction and they take a real stand against the exact thing they claim to believe in.

They wouldn't be screwed, they would all be fine. And yes if it is something I believe in I would lose all credibility if I did anything else.

Money without integrity is hollow. Speaking out against them might cost LeBron some money but do you really think the NBA would kick him out? He is the face of the league. Players and coaches would fall in line with him in support. I think you underestimate his voice and platform.

It's not money without integrity. Every one of those dollars the NBA earns is well-earned. You have an incredibly myopic view of what happened, and it conveniently paints Lebron in the worst light. You can't even admit that you wouldn't sell out your people to make a political point.

Would you speak out against China on the human rights violations knowing your country could lose billions because they could impose a levy on your goods being sold to them ? How about Russia ? Saudi Arabia?

What do you mean? Daryl apparently didn't realize what kind of hornet's nest he was walking into and he backtracked everything. Morey is the reason Lebron and everybody else knew not to talk. Revenue suffered from Morey's comments. How can you look at him and think this is an example of why you should speak out?

- that it's OK to sell out all your business associates to make a political point.
- that you have the power to influence China to change.
- that you wouldn't want more money if you were in his position.
- that the NBA can't do more good as an open channel between east and west.
