When every possible choice sells somebody out, go for minimal cost, yes.
So IYO it is acceptable to not do what is the right thing to do (human rights) (the very thing everyone NBA, LeBron, etc. are professing themselves to do here) if it were to offend the suppliers of $$$? So do you view this as hypocrisy to the extreme or taking care of business as need be?
You're oversimplifying and twisting it all up. I've been very clear and specific about my position. If you've been reading my posts and don't get it by now, you probably won't. I'll give it one more shot.
If Lebron could flip a switch and fix human rights violations in China, then your oversimplification of the issue would be valid. It's not valid. It completely ignores the fact that speaking out would likely accomplish nothing, and worse than doing nothing, it would almost definitely reduce interaction between the east and west.

Clay isn’t wrong with this take.
Maybe you don't get it? I know with your ego that would be hard to admit. Answer the question I posed if you can bring yourself to do so. Hypocrisy or taking care of business?
It's easy to answer your extremely poor worded question, the problem is the question is not representative of the conversation here.
Do I think it's acceptable to turn my back on human rights so that I can make money? The answer is no. That's not the right question, tho.
You do understand the irony of putting slogans on the back of your jersey in protest while critizing the protest in Hong Kong and standing for Chinese values?LOL at the number of question marks. How has the NBA picked China over Hong Kong? It's doing business in both places. They didn't tell Hong Kong protesters what to do and they didn't tell China what to do.
