ESPN Reporter Allegedly Tells Sen. Josh Hawley ‘F*** You’ Over NBA, China Criticism

So you are good with standing fast for what you believe as long as the cost is minimal?

If the cost is substantial then it is ok to be a sellout?

During the American Revolution you would have been a Tory correct?

When every possible choice sells somebody out, go for minimal cost, yes.

So IYO it is acceptable to not do what is the right thing to do (human rights) (the very thing everyone NBA, LeBron, etc. are professing themselves to do here) if it were to offend the suppliers of $$$? So do you view this as hypocrisy to the extreme or taking care of business as need be?

You're oversimplifying and twisting it all up. I've been very clear and specific about my position. If you've been reading my posts and don't get it by now, you probably won't. I'll give it one more shot.

If Lebron could flip a switch and fix human rights violations in China, then your oversimplification of the issue would be valid. It's not valid. It completely ignores the fact that speaking out would likely accomplish nothing, and worse than doing nothing, it would almost definitely reduce interaction between the east and west.

Maybe you don't get it? I know with your ego that would be hard to admit. Answer the question I posed if you can bring yourself to do so. Hypocrisy or taking care of business?

Exactly zero change worth mentioning has ever happened by the flip if a switch. By that rational we should only do anything if it were simple and ready made to change. Speaking out would in fact achieve much more than your letting in and I believe deep down you know the power a man of his platform and means has.

It's easy to answer your extremely poor worded question, the problem is the question is not representative of the conversation here.

Do I think it's acceptable to turn my back on human rights so that I can make money? The answer is no. That's not the right question, tho.

Ok. Sorry if you misunderstood my poorly worded question. Do you feel it is ok to stress human rights (BLM) in one area of the world (the US) since the economic impact would be minimal, while ignoring human rights in another area of the world (China) where speaking up would have a greater economic impact? Do you see this as being hypocritical? In your mind is this an acceptable position? Can you answer a CLEAR question without the typical "you are twisting my remarks, you just do not understand" remarks?

It won't let you type in Hong Kong but it will allow anything else

I think we all know that the NBA is trying to remain neutral on Hong Kong. Literally nobody, including the NBA, is pretending otherwise. You guys are acting like you've uncovered some surprising scandal.

LOL at the number of question marks. How has the NBA picked China over Hong Kong? It's doing business in both places. They didn't tell Hong Kong protesters what to do and they didn't tell China what to do.
You do understand the irony of putting slogans on the back of your jersey in protest while critizing the protest in Hong Kong and standing for Chinese values?
