I don't think it will be. I think they are looking for any kind of technicality to charge him with ahead of the next election. They will probably raid more than one property.

We’ve been through this probably 20 times in just the 4 years that I’ve been posting here. It usually involves investigations of Trump, but the shoe has been on the other foot too with the book that mentioned General Milley, and people deciding that Sotomayor was the source for that Nina Totenberg article.

You’d think everyone would have been burned enough times to have learned their lesson by now.

The future fall out of this will be very interesting. People like Joe Biden have plenty of skeletons in their closet. Does this open up many future former presidents to investigation and prosecution by their political enemies? I think so. Just like the dems to not think far enough ahead.

It’s ironic that there is mistrust of the FBI when Trump was the one demanding loyalty from them and they wholeheartedly refused. Your mistrust is placed with the incorrect party, I’m afraid.

Btw, it wasn’t an assessment of trump (I’ll gladly give one if asked), just a parade of the company he keeps.

The FBI lost all credibility and trust 2 decades prior to Trump.

Oh I agree. If he is guilty lock his butt up. I am just thinking how this is going to blow up when it comes out that he owes NY like 2000 bucks in back taxes on something.

This better be a rock solid case if we want to avoid political upheaval. Every I dotted, every T crossed. The DA, or whoever, is actually ready to prosecute in a timely manner, a couple months imo. If this drags on for years it's a mess. And from the numerous cases already brought against Trump we know this government is willing to go off half baked in order to score some points.

Sadly this is accurate. The FBI was best when they operated quietly and didn't have to answer to being viewed political.

I am sure everyone’s confidence is high that the FBI pursues justice for all. There are no protected people. Lol.

Tell me about that FBI raid on Hillary. Not sure you're making the connection on the two issues. Had the FBI did their job and held her accountable I don't believe you would have any issues with the FBI looking into Trump.
