I haven’t had a domestic beer of any kind in over 25 years. Why? They all suck and I prefer a strong craft beer so I have no dog in this fight. However, for those of the “get over it” crowd the bud light fiasco is the single largest decline of any company in history. The bud light division is now bankrupt and InBev (a huge conglomerate) is now subsidizing the division. Stock holders will not tolerate this and it can be seen in the company’s stock which is falling. The problem with the promotion is they are wanting us to embrace mental illness which I will never do. It’s not intolerance, it’s reality.

Ha: a certain crowd gets its panties in a knot over EVERYTHING.

They didn't? Strongly disagree. They wanted it to be ALL Inclusive and embrace our differences and they trot out a man wanting to be a woman. I will not embrace mental illness and that's what transgenderism is. If that's your thing go for it. And lets be clear, it's always the left that throws the fits and they are very good at projecting.

You are the one throwing hissy fit about a beer you say you don't even drink. The right is busy destroying beer they paid for already. Yeah, it's the left projecting. lmao

The Bud Light controversy/boycott has got to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard of, and I'm not even judging the politics of it. It's just stupid. Most of the major distributors in the USA have similar programs or have similar outreach to different people, and Bud Light was hardly the only company that made a commemorative can for someone in that specific community.

The customer is always right. If the customer doesn’t want a product, it is not the customer‘s fault. The business can either make adjustments to compensate or go bankrupt. Or should we be forced to buy products we don’t want?

A few cans of already purchased beer were destroyed. You don’t honestly think people are actually buying the stuff withbthe sole purpose of destroying it do you?

Almost as dumb as a 26 year old man thinking he is now a preteen girl for a year
I expanded on my post above. I could care less if the dude thinks he's a unicorn. Bud Light isn't the only beer distributor to have done this. Most of the major ones in the US have done the same or similar in instances.

Most drivers exceed the speed limit. But that doesn’t mean the one who gets ticketed can use that as an excuse. Sorry, people got pushed one rainbow too far this time. It was going to be some company that eventually felt the bite. Bud‘s number just happened to come up

I dunno man, just in the last 3 months the right has thrown fits over:

Bud Light
Chick Fil A (not surprisingly this one didn’t stick because Jesus chicken)
Target
Free School Lunches for school children
Coors
Ford
Chevy
Trans people
Gays
Drag queens
Gas stove warnings (I’m not even sure this was a real issue)
Disney
Vaccines

And I’m sure that’s not everything. At the end of the day, will people still have the attention span to keep up the 24/7 rage boycotts? There are people in this thread who now are going to allegedly boycott Peyton Manning? A year from now when the Bud Light is BOGO at Walmart going into Memorial Day weekend, will righties have the intestinal fortitude to stick by their word?

Didn't you say you don't drink BL? Why would you care about their ads? Did they affect you adversely in some manner?

Only touching on one issue for now….if you have to ask if the gas stove issue is/was real, you appear to be dangerously unacquainted with the news 🙄

You don't have to buy it if you don't want, but the right loves to complain about cancel culture until it suits them.

I don't have a problem with people voting with their pocket books.
That is as basic a right as can be imagined in a free consumer society.

I have family members who, with their churches, are actually doing the boycotting those left-wingers at Chik-Fil-A and Cracker Barrel.

They actually were in some settings. We didn't have Rush Limbaugh, Fox News or social media, so there was no outrage over it

I remember my mother coming home from work in the mid 80s forbidding us to buy Proctor & Gamble products because their executives sold their souls to Satan and that was the meaning of the company emblem.

So "the left" likes to cancel over sexual assault, rape, racism, and discrimination, and that's dumb, but "the right" likes to cancel over acknowledging gay and trans people are a part of our society, and that's OK.

I'll never understand.

Can't remember the last time I drank Budweiser. To each their own I guess.

I generally like any Mexican or Belgian lager. And although it's a pilsner, I'll drink Miller Lite in a pinch.

I've never been a Budweiser guy, but all of this ridiculousness makes me want to drink it just out of spite.
