‘23 FL OT Francis Mauigoa (Miami commit)

Guess what? Every program in the country misses on some of their top targets. We landed a consensus 5* athlete today, one of our top DB targets yesterday, and a very promising DE, LB, and safety in the past 9 days. People are too busy crying about what we missed to appreciate all that we have.
PREACH!

Fine by me. Like I said dude is an absolute stud.

yeah, here it is

But sources have told GoVols247 that Tennessee might be in the best shape with the 6-foot-1, 220-pound Seldon, who’s being recruited by the Vols as an all-purpose weapon on offense who’s capable of lining up at wide receiver or running back.

I resisted this line of thinking vehemently. And as it happens more times than not, I was wrong. It is a bidding war. And we obviously don’t have the big dogs with the deep pockets that are willing to do what it takes.
It’s not surprising we have been cheap for years we put academia over big time winning football and will be happy with 8-4 seasons and big wins over Kentucky just sad and that’s about it. The only time in modern history that the administration gave a flip about big time winning football and competing for championships was when Doug Dickey was our AD the best AD we ever had.

He will be bankrupt before this class graduates. It’s a paper money house of cards.
I know it’s been said alot the last 15 years or so but I think Miami is about to come back for real and big time at that with Christobol as their coach. The dude can recruit he knows South Florida

Folks the administration at UT is happy with 8-4 seasons they aren’t going to pay up to get the best players

Of course not but if we found that out we’d know we are spending crazily which also isn’t bad. But that is over paying for a guard position.

I mean we all know TN and other big time programs have been paying for players for years. Now it’s out in the open and legal. I mean I thought boosters were still a big negative? Apparently not because Ruiz isn’t even trying to hide anything.

I mean do you think Miami or it’s fan base think it’s too much money for him? My guess is no. My guess is both are super excited about getting a top 2 OL in the nation. You think Rashada thinks it’s too much money?

That hurts Florida and that’s a good thing for us. But it’s funny seeing some of the posts. A multi billionaire is gonna go bankrupt? That’s laughable.

What if Miami is paying ungodly amounts of money?

Why can they pay ungodly amounts and we can’t? There’s no billionaire UT fan out there? Or do we just have the greedy type of billionaire fans that hoard more money than they’ll ever realistically need?

Damn I wonder what we was offering if the rumor is Miami gave him $4MM. That's an awful lot for a non-skilled position player.

Wished we could have landed him but let's focus on the kids we do land.

Should of been 5 but ol Jim needs his 5pm he house to rent out for an outrageous amount of money haha.

That was my thought as well. 3 win season to being in on 5 star recruits... One could say things are on the mend. But the weak-minded would rather whine that something's broken.

why do people not understand we’ve been in on 5 star recruits literally every year. Nothing has changed. It’s time to land them and land them in spades. Whatever it takes. The people that have the power to make it be, need to make it be.

I think basketball fans would disagree with your take on Dickey
