Georgia has a collective don’t let their fans fool you trust me they are paying high schoolers, maybe not top dollar but they are still payingBeen saying it for a while now. We aren't going to pay what it takes to land a guy like Ffrench who's going for the highest bidder. We've got incredible young talent on the roster already and two bigtime instate commits we've not had to invest heavily in. It wouldn't make sense from a resource allocation perspective OR from a locker room perspective to do so.
IMO Smith is gettable from the NIL sense because UGA won't pay him anything. So that will come down to him being willing to take less to go there or some money to come here. DJ Miller, IMO, is the most likely WR on the board right now. I also wouldn't be shocked if they decide to stay at 2 for the preseason and see how the season plays out.
This is the type of kid who ends up transferring to three different schools looking for a money deal.
He won’t finish his career at Texas.
I’m with you, on the outside they want to sell the “earn it once you get here” mantra but they are definitely still in the game.Don’t be naive
The collective, believed to be one of the more well-paying, distributes to Georgia athletes — mostly football players — more than $1 million. Per month.
To be clear I'm not saying they don't pay a dime. But they're not paying what we pay.I’m with you, on the outside they want to sell the “earn it once you get here” mantra but they are definitely still in the game.
