We’re not going to throw a huge bag at one skill player and poison the lockerroom basically. Qb is about the only position I see them throwing crazy cash at. Texas does not have this philosophy.Maybe he doesn't like the way the depth chart is stacking up and/or maybe our collective doesn't feel like his value is as high as others.
Didn’t see this post before I made mine but this is exactly what’s going on.Been saying it for a while now. We aren't going to pay what it takes to land a guy like Ffrench who's going for the highest bidder. We've got incredible young talent on the roster already and two bigtime instate commits we've not had to invest heavily in. It wouldn't make sense from a resource allocation perspective OR from a locker room perspective to do so.
IMO Smith is gettable from the NIL sense because UGA won't pay him anything. So that will come down to him being willing to take less to go there or some money to come here. DJ Miller, IMO, is the most likely WR on the board right now. I also wouldn't be shocked if they decide to stay at 2 for the preseason and see how the season plays out.
He had an excellent game against Jeremiah Smith and Chaminade Madonna last year. CM had 4 star DBs as well as 5 star WRs. Porter still ateThere are about 15+ WR's out there that are about equally talented. This guy sounds like a diva...... The kid I would love to get is Quincy Porter out of NJ. Outstanding, Tall and really fast, great hands, and seems to be really down to earth.
Do YOU think Heupel would recruit the future leader of his program, if the kid were focused on such things???That’s his go to. It’s hilarious to see the responses in here. We all know this is the NIL era. Some people acting like a kid wanting a Lamborghini is a big deal breaker lol. Give me a break. What if GMac wanted one? Would we pass?
