Florida Player Credit Card Rumors

Y'all really need to apply a little more common sense to what you read.
1) The article in the OP says that Antonio Callaway and Treon Harris were suspended for the 2016 season. False. Then it goes on one paragraph later to say Callaway avoided the suspension. That should set off some red flags for you.
2) College kids with over $150,000 available to them to spend via credit card? LOL.
What you guys keep posting are blogs who caught a whiff of rumors out there that have some merit to them, but not at all in the form it's been "reported" by these guys. As I said yesterday, the facts are still not fully known, and I believe the incident was something that could be made restitution for without any criminal charges. Until we have more info for you than that, please stop linking trash blogs that obviously don't make sense on the surface.
It's unfair to the players these blogs are (sometimes inaccurately) naming. Grossly unfair. There's a reason that no reputable journalist has reported on this yet.

Nothing said at FSU that you can't find anywhere else besides the Zaire part. I could probably find it in an article if I truly give a chit but I don't.

The same FSU who botched Winston and Cook criminal investigations? FSU recently had a player suspended for felony theft and fraud charges so they'll start as many rumors and threads on this subject to deflect the attention away from Tallahassee.

D. Phillips has been suspended for fraud. Basically he bought money orders. Altered amounts and deposited back into his checking. Turned $500 into $2500.

Will Mac suspend the 6 players that did similar thing but by using financial aid cards?

One horrible decision? Lol

Idk where the humor is from my post? It's true that these kids get the opportunity of a lifetime that most people would do anything to get. They make one horrible decision like taking money, going to a club, drugs, sexual misconduct or anything illegal. It takes one stupid decision and everything will be taken away. I honestly don't feel sorry for any of them regardless of what team they play for.

The humor is in one horrible decision. Any good player has to make many bad decision before they lose their golden ticket.

Not really. I seems to me that the stars and starters get way more chances than someone who isn't.

Just read 7 players suspended for Michigan game

Gotta be fake news, Big Boi. :)

Jim McElwain wouldn't suspend them that game. He'd suspend them for the following week, the Northern Colorado game. Because...well, it doesn't have to make sense. Just because.

What an idiot - who ever cashed them for him probably got fired - most money orders are not valid over 500 dollars

Good lord. Going over to Gatorbait and seeing those guys talking about how their players are basically rogue at the moment. And all of the crap that gets swept under the rug....the drug use, the performance enhancers, shooting guns at their GFs, credit card fraud, Callaway supposedly hanging out with a dude that is accused of molesting a teenager.....yikes.

UF is basically a prison reform team.

Update:

#Gators suspend 7 players for season opener vs. Michigan: J.Houston, K.Telfort, K.Davis, A.Callaway, J.Smith, R.Desir-Jones, and V.Miller.

Suspension due to misuse of school stipend. Out of this group of 7, three are true Freshmen and likely would have redshirted anyway (Miller, Telfort, Houston), two are deep reserves (Desir-Jones, J Smith), Davis is a contributing DE who would have seen snaps, and of course Callaway is a big time playmaker who really hurts the team by his absence. Fortunately for UF, WR is its deepest position, but no doubt Callaway is special. Not good heading into a tough opener v Michigan.

I said it another thread, but I'll say it again: Mark Richt has lost control of the Florida Gators football program
