Florida vs. air

I watched a few gator practices. The one thing they absolutely have down is getting off the bus. I mean they have no equal in that aspect of the game. The practice footage of it showed high energy, flawless footwork, great step vision, and just an overall excellent exit sense.

Tennessee has lost 10 straight to Florida. Regardless of the pre-season expectations, I will not pick Tennessee to win until they show me, at least once, that they can beat Florida. And while we're on it, I feel the same about Alabama.

The practices I watched most folks were catching the ball. I think Air took the afternoon off. Their QB's look pretty shaky though that is no joke.

Your defense is gonna get real tired with your offense going 3-and-out every time they step on the field. It's pretty bad when your own coach admits his offense can't complete a pass against air.

Have you ever heard the term "Coach Speak" ?

Grier was 70% in that practices. They backups were his issue.

Not with our numbers on DL and secondary.

Collin s is big on rotation and keeping his dogs fresh. The issues at MSU was talent at DT4-5 and DB6. He has no worries there at UF. The LB depth sucks but playing mostly nickel should help.

Watch the first couple of minutes. Our DBs can catch balls against air. Now, don't you guys come recruiting them to be receivers at UF. It's against the rules.

And as to offense. I feel confident in Dobbs, Hurd, the elite receiver corp we have... Heck, while you're scratching your head at QB and watching your receivers drop balls against air, our worst QB is looking to be a better receiver than any of your receivers. lol

DRob lol at your 5* tissue paper WR. All hype.

Last year, our QB completed passes to Tennessee.

And ours immediately returned the favor

It really was a sight to see. It was like a microcosm of our struggles against Florida packaged up with a pretty bow in one gut punch of a game. It was LOLTENNESSEE personified.

After the last several years of UT football, it's odd you wanna say that to anyone.

When it's spiraling the other direction? That's the LEAST odd time to say it. :w00t:

This notion that Florida football is in some sort of unrecoverable death spiral, it's laughable.

It's really not. You guys haven't seen what a true downward spiral looks like in a long time, Tennessee fans are the experts in this field.

You are very much facing one. FSU taking over the state isn't going to do you any favors either.

Meh, it wasn't too long ago UF, FSU and Miami were all top 10 programs at the same time.

FSU "taking over" the state doesn't mean UF is doomed by any stretch.

Now Miami on the other hand...
