Friday weigh in thread (suns out guns out challenge 8/31/2025)

Forgot to weigh when I got up. But I'm sure about +11 still. Dangit. But my workout this morning KICKED MY BUTT!!! Awesome awesome workout!!! Gonna be one of my go to's for sure.

You still beating the girl at work or is that over?

Not over til the end of March. Neither of us are doing as well as we thought we would at this point, lol. Her grandmother is in the hospital, so I haven't seen her in a couple days.

You, my Vol Nation friends, are going to help me stay on track with my workouts and diet. Every Friday I will post my progress. Feel free to play along.

I am 6.2 and 229lbs.
goal is 205. Edit: 195
I'm +24.Edit +34

212.2 of twisted steel and sex appeal!! Woooooooooo!!!
Broke through the "flat top mountain area" I've been stuck on and I'm now +17.2

I should've done a body fat challenge, instead of a weight challenge. I feel like I've lost fat, but not lost significant weight.

This is my problem as well Thrash. I'm swollen up like an SOB but have Only dropped 2 lbs in the last month. Belt is in 2 notches though.

How your clothes fit and how you look is all that matters. Weight is a bit overrated

Will post before and after shots in June. That will be 2 cycles of P90X. I will not be ready after one cycle.

Just now came across this thread. Great idea and motivator considering I started P90X on January 30. I'm 5'-11", and my starting weight was 208. I am down to 197 so far, and this is my recovery week. I am hoping for another 20+ lbs in the next 60 days or so. The workouts are strenuous, the nutrition aspect is difficult (but getting much easier by the week), but I have not doubt that it will be worth it to get into great shape.

LOVE before and afters! I did that couple years ago, when I first started losing. Really glad I did those pics.

It was worth it. :)

Always is. Gotta have that go crazy day or two. I finally got back in the gym this week on a regular basis. Two hour workouts on Mon-Thursday. Playing hooky today. Started an attempt to lose weight through structured eating in November. Started at 215 and dropped to 190.5 by January 18th. My lowest in several years. 190 seems to be my problem spot. Get there and bounce around between 190-195. 194 this morning so see what happens. Target is 185 at present. Once attained, target will be 180 ish.
