not sure if you worded this wrong but you cant just apply a huge buyout. It must be specifically stated when both parties sign the contract.

If your question is 'why didnt hamilton put a huge buyout in kiffen's contract', well that's the million dollar question that we'd all like to know. My answer is "because he was an idiot".

Something for everyone to think about. Majors will have one on Fulmer that he will never have just as Fulmer has the NC that Majors will never have. Majors had his number retired and we all know that will never happen to Foolmer!

You know pro players who have had a season off have been able to reenegize themselves and come back with a new MO. same thing for coaches. Looks like VN needs a family counseling session.

If a Dave Hart type AD had been at the helm instead of Hamilton, we would have gotten a legit OC after Cutcliffe and therefore would have won more games and Fulmer would have never been fired and we would have never had to endure the dumpster fire that has been UT football the last 4 years. And although he's a brother in Christ and an awesome man, I conclude it is all Mike Hamilton's fault.

Until UT makes it right with Phil the Karmic curse will continue no matter who shows up.......make it right with the big guy or continue the curse. He was the only reason we got back to national prestege in the first place, there is no way it can be justified to have let him go mid season. Eject these bama grads and Saban lackies, and return UT alumni to our staff.......or don't and Chavis will continue paying the Voodun preistess in Nawlins to put a hex on UT.....!!!

That anyone now can not see how exceptional he was, and what a mistake letting him go, and destroying our reputation in how we treated him is just stubborness..... Bring Fulmer back as Coach or AD, or Coach for a couple of years, with understanding he searches for replacement and becomes AD!!! I'm telling you the spirits of UT will not be satiated until the Big Guy returns.

The CURSE continues.
