Fulmer Debate II

Weight Watchers?....American Diabetes Association?...named two programs :victory:

That's cute, the best you can come up with I guess. CPF haters are the most "in denial" people in the world. Make yourself feel better, post a picture of him eating donuts or something, go on knock yourself out.

CPF's recruiting turned it into a highly successful program. KNOXVOL, do not make me come down there. :eek:lol:

LOL- i liked that! But, if we go to that poin, doesn't that mean Sanders, Cutt and Chavis get all the credit for the success of the mid and late 90's?

I can't answer why no other programs have not offered CPF a job. But I bet you I can name you one that wishes to hell that hadn't been in such a hurry to get rid of him.

Personally I think ole coach may not want to coach any more honestly. He may have pulled his name from the various hats. Maybe he doesn't want to coach anywhere not named Tennessee Vols or coach anywhere he would have to compete against the vols.

He has stated that he is a Tennessee Volunteer. That's what chaps my a** more than anything. He played, and was a very successful coach here and is truly a VFL. Yeah, he may have lost a little at the end, but the comments by some Vol "fans" amazes me. Oh well, that's a them problem.

I agree!

Maybe he will just sit at home and count his money.
I don't know Fulmer, but he played at U.T. when I was a student. I believe that he was one year behind me.

If I was in Fulmer's financial situation, there is no way in the world that I would move at my age to coach football, and give up any semblance of a normal life. When you get to be in your 60's and have worked for 40 years, most people don't want to pull up roots and leave family and friends.

I am not saying that someone who is 60 something doesn't want to work, but I would bet that few would want to move for a job that requires that many hours, and that much devotion.

Latest word on ESPN is due to so many top jobs having came open and poor ole Fill being harassed constantly to take them, Jimmy Sexton and Fill's attorney have been trying to convince a judge to initiate a restraining order against any team seeking a head coach. All inquiring entities would have to go directly through his agent, Jimmy Sexton so Phil could get some rest and peace of mind.

The presiding judge, the Honorable R.U. Kidding Me, has been very reluctant to issue the order unless Sexton can provide evidence he has at least twenty full time agents and paralegals to handle the flood of calls and visits that would surely come their way. "Something has to be done", said Mr. Sexton. "Its just as the Fulmerites predicited. Phil can get a job anywhere and is in high demand. This can be attested to by the number of front doors to his residence that has been beaten down by teams seeking a head coach. Things have turned violent...athletic directors cannot, or will not, take no for an answer. On top of it all, the Cleveland Browns are now camped out on his lawn, three carloads of Vanderbilt people are continuously driving around his house and it goes on and on and on".

Ok, So you made another "Phil can't get a job" post. I want you to admit in the your next post the following :
: "Will Muschamp, Charlie Weis, Tommy Tuberville and Lane Kiffin are better football coaches than Phillip Fulmer". Go on, say it. You've certainly put more stupid sh87 on here than that. Say it. Please, not that anyone takes you serious now anyway. But come on, they have jobs and "poor ole Fill" doesn't. Come on, please back up your posts. Say it, please.
