Fulmer to UK?

Commendable. :hi: And startling.

I'm trying to remember what I was doing at 19, and other than doing 3 1/2 weeks in Outward Bound in the Colorado Rockies (this was in the John Denver era), I don't remember a whole helluva lot. Listening to lots of Allman Brothers Band and Clapton and Poco, I think.

I have no problems admitting I am a boring person.

Plus I love the Vols.

Don't see Phil or Cutliffe going to UK. Phil's blood is 'nothing" but orange. At least that's my opinion.

I've always thought that would be a great job for him if they gave him enough support. The problem - UK will never give enough support to its football program

Maybe when Calipari finally gets nailed and probation sets in on the BB program

Fulmer's done coaching.

Going to UK would ruin his legacy, which isn't that great to begin with.

I usually like your writing, and I'm no Fulmer honk, but you are just so wrong here. He's in the Hall of Fame for a reason.

IIRC he's off the Vol payroll as of this year. So that means he probably has some $$green$$ in his blood at that time.

Fulmer would do well at UK and be a huge upgrade over anyone they could get. They are not spending money on a football coach and Fulmer would work for cheap I bet.

No way Kentucky wants The Kingpin of Crime for their head coach. Too many schools saw how he transformed UT into Outlaw U. They want no part of that.

Had Fulmer coached in the era that Majors did, he would likely have at least 4 SEC championships. Majors never had to play in an SEC championship game and was "co-champion" at least one time that I remember.

I'd be very interested to see how Fulmer could do on the recruiting trial. He lost his edge here, and it'd be fun to see if he could regain it at KY... Also be fun to see what kind of staff he'd put together. Al Sanders is a offensive assistant for the Raiders and he should def be a prospect for offensive coord for Fulmer IMO.
